CP Soap Making with Intentional Glycerin Rivers

Hey folks! Its been a long week so I apologize for the droning vocals in this soap making video. However, this video will show you how to get intentional glycerin rivers in your cold process soap. there are two ways and we show you one in this video and tell you about the other one.
glycerin rivers are not always wanted in our soap making designs, but its nice to know that we have control over when and if it happens by knowing what causes it.

@@OakleafandOcotillo Those black paper clip clamps used to hold large documents together. They come in various sizes. Those are my chip black clamps & cloths pins lol

I have found that just mixing my colorant with glycerin causes the rivers. If you are not already doing a water discount, mixing your colorant with water can have the same effect.

If you are mixing your colorants with water that will cause it. It might help to do a water discount when mixing your lye water. Otherwise you can use oil from your batch to mix the colorants, (Just a teaspoon or so) before you add the lye water.

Hi Demetrius! Yes. Market it as intentional. Now days its becoming trendy to cause glycerin rivers, just add your colorant mixed with water or glycerin to your CP soap. It’s purely aesthetic and has no bearing on the quality of the soap.
