Canada Post is a poorly managed Crown Corporation that’s losing marketshare due to its lack of innovation and inability to lower costs and increase volume. There are dozens of companies that drive packages over the border and mail them back into Canada via USPS. This strike pushed more small businesses to take that route, and will cost Canada Post millions is future lost earnings, adding to the millions they’ve already lost due to strike action. Postal Workers and their incompetent Union don’t seem to understand they’re shooting themselves in the foot. The workers lost support from CANADA . Union leaders took them out on strike wrong time of the year. Now people will not support another strike . And for Jagmeet and the NDP they could not make a worst mess of this strike. He made lots of noise about standing up to Justin T and then votes confidence for him to stay in power. Now they are saying they are waiting till the beginning of March after JAGMEET gets his 2 million pension then they will vote him out of power . HYPROCRITE he is . And for the union you guys are supporting the wrong person JAGMEET.

You're here demonizing the very same working class that was expressing its right to protest that's noted in the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, whilst you yourself participate in that very same working class. You're fighting against the same working class that you're part of, and that conservatives want you to fight against, because it'll make them money. Be better, and for god sake, put your unfathomable hubris and disdain toward your fellow workers in check.

@ jokes on you because i go to work, get paid less than a postie and dont bitch and complain about it. Theyve got it so good for the minimal effort required to do the job. Hell i might apply for canada post. 30 bucks an hour and benefits to deliver mail for a few hours is the easiest sounding shit.

Well hey guess what my job you don’t get to strike never mind being able to have a month off ok. So o think people need to grow up. They are not stepping on rights. We live in a society that is a collective of people that need to dam work for things to go smoothly I’m tired of everyone spending stupid the blaming every company for not paying enough. No

Maybe you should move to China or North Korea sounds like a better fit for you. People can strike in Canada, we have something called the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms here, look it up section 2) d)

For those who are interested, since the salary is supposedly very good, CP is always hiring. You can easily apply online. They are always hiring because the job is so easy and the pay is very high, yet people don’t last long. Why could that be? Spread the word they need people.

Our local post workers here are getting $25/hr with good benefits and pension. Only ones that leave were due to a really mean manager, otherwise they loved their jobs. No one ever complained about it being hard either.
