@marnixgroen49964 жыл бұрын
Leroy Tang Matt Bonner(number 15) hadn’t played all game long and was just in the game to hit a three as a final option, also Bonner and rushing into the paint is impossible, he was way too slow. Marco Bellinelli(number 3) was covered by Matt Barnes who is a fantastic defender, especially on the wings, so you shouldn’t play through whomever he was guarding. The play was quite clever, even more so if you take the circumstances in consideration, the Clippers expect them to shoot a three, probably by Leonard. Leonard was being guarded by a slower and average defender in Griffin, which means that a sudden cut could be effective, I think it would’ve concluded in a better shot than whatever three they could produce, but Matt Barnes is just a great defender and made sure the Clippers would advance.

On that last play, Belinelli should've moved towards the ball as Kawhi started his V cut. Barnes peeped it the first time and wasn't paying any attention to Marco. If Belinelli cuts to the top of the key at the same time, Barnes has to make a decision. Does he follow Marco or help at the rim? If Matt converges at the rim, Diaw has an open pass to Marco for the win.
