Honestly this is a very underrated season from anyone really in the past few years. CP essentially took a relatively irrelevant OKC team who was coming off the Westbrook era and led them to the playoffs. Chris Paul also has gotta be a driving factor in SGA's development into a star.

I often forget that CP3 actually spent a season with OKC, but when I remember it and watch his highlights I'm reminded just how much he elevated this team during that season. Seeing Shai today you can definitely tell CP3 mentored him during this 2019-20 season

The 2019-20 season was one of the most fun to watch the Thunder. To have a savvy floor general with multiple shooters was a pleasure the Thunder fans never really had.

I’ve wanted him in okc since the beginning. I’d have loved it if they pushed to trade russ for him back in russes 2/3 year in. Could’ve been something special with cp3, harden, Ibaka and durant but alas we never got to see this happen. But now I want him to stay. And develop the team to be championship contenders and not try and trade for a championship. We need cp3

As a Thunder fan, I sort of expected CP3 to phone it in and maybe just play for himself to raise his market value for a trade. I really did not think he would earn his big fat paycheck at all, but I was totally wrong; he was the beating heart of that team. This guy is such a pro baller it's not even funny. I have nothing but respect for what he just did with OKC and I hope he goes somewhere where he can win.
