your videos have been incredibly helpful for starting up as a streamer and learning how to use obs! i know most streamers use an actual mic on a desk but im mostly bed bound so i only use a headset mic to stream and record, would you happen to know any settings that would be decent for one? or would you ever consider making a video on good settings for audio coming through a headset mic? thanks in advance and awesome video as always!

Unfortunately I don't have any good recs for headset mics at the moment, but if you haven't already seen this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bXmUo2SceMR7g7s you could give it a shot on your current headset with some minor tweaks to see if it helps at all! just don't go overboard with the filters haha

How much fps does this use cuz I'm using this now and streaming RL wqs struggling to get 240fps on a 3070ti... I've streamed this before without any trouble but is this due by overlay cuz i cant find anything else wrong when not streaming

Not many really use this style of overlay anymore they are rather outdated content wise and often look cluttered but If anyone does use an overlay for chatting (talking) please please please! use the larger box for your camera not the little box and put your game/screen cap in the smaller one because if your talking to chat they will want to see YOU not see you hiding in a tiny box in the bottom of the screen. This comes from someone that's been a viewer for 6 years not a streamer perspective.

This tutorial was very helpful. But there is only one issue for me. I have got "the latest follower" bar on my overlay and it was working till... i went live streaming. Then i have got a few more followers in the next days, but the info on the latest follower bar its not updating. Its still showing the old one :( Any ideas how do i fix that?

That's actually a great question that I don't know the answer to. According to their site you can't access them if your subscription ends, however I'm not sure it they straight up remove it or you just can't edit them anymore. So I'd recommend shooting their support chat a message for a more solid answer, report back if you do reach out because I'd like to know too for others with the same question :D

Honestly not sure about that! I don't think you can do that same as we did in OBS for the import, you'd have to manually add them in one-by-one iirc, but not 100% on that

They might have some overlays that do that :D You can use it with Streamlabs, just not sure on the import process like we do in the video, as a backup you can go to the scenes on the own3d page and copy the browser source urls and paste them into streamlabs as browser sources :D

Nope! You can do the same thing in Streamlabs, just not sure about the quick import option since I haven't tested it out myself but it's possible you can do the same thing. otherwise you can manually add each scene via browser sources :D
