Family members can have ill intentions as well when it comes to money. Best to leave to it to the individual to decide who he/she wants to give their money to (regardless of family members or not).

Can CPF suggest to citizens a list of trusted institutions or organisations we can nominate to? Say if we don't want to nominate to any family members.

One of the interesting points most Singaporeans might not be aware of. Upon marriage, your previous nomination is null and voided (this I believe people know) Upon divorce, your nomination is NOT null and void. i.e your ex-husband or ex-wife can still be your recipient! (I doubt most people know this)

my question: If i bequeath a portion of my CPF to an organisation like a church, will this organisation have a difficult time claiming the money? Do they have to go through the hassle of having to prove they are who they are?

CPF Nom system does not accept a church to be listed as beneficiary, ie CPF member cannot nominate a church to receive CPF monies.

Nomination leave it to the person itself as long as the person is sound during nomination.

Why are Singaporeans voting for the PAP to write laws to "lock up" their own monies? It makes no sense at all. Singaporeans are better off managing their own private saving for healthcare and retirement. CPF scheme is redundant.

Absolutely DO NOT TRUST the CPF administrators. You CANNOT nominate at will. These monies DO NOT belong to you. Their unstated and opaque regulations makes it impossible to withdraw under certain conditions. The best solution is to withdraw ASAP and keep your money in a private financial institution where you can access your money and know what the rules are. Nominate your most trustworthy person to act on your behalf on the Medisave portion. This person must have completed their NS, properly renounced and confirmed by the PAP, and be an undischarged debtor (NEVER ever declared bankruptcy). The most important takeaway from this, NEVER EVER TRUST THE PAP(SMEAR). Have a wonderful day...
