Hello Anand Sir How to adjust the knob and on which number do we have to keep it to get maximum flexion of the knee my patient she has bilateral knee replacement but her ankle of bending is coming to less than 90 degrees my Orthopaedic surgeon has asked me to bring her flexion to 110-120 degrees please guide.U spoke about two knobs i wanted to know about second knob on which point it has to be kept fixed

Yes 120 Degree is Quite important but it will take time depending upon her Preoperative conditions. Adjust proximal knob(near to Hip joint) Remember Forcefull /painful Bending not Recommended. 12 min ICE therapy just after CPM to avoid any swelling. patella mobilisation must. Rest will explain

For Getting flexion range, u must Ajust your cpm machine knob without patient. u can look the angle in cpm . there no fixed number,it is variable machine to machine but Angle of Bend must be same in every Machine.
