Great explanation - Subscribed to learn more! Around 3:08 into the video it was mentioned Bernoulli's eq. not valid if streamline passes through pump or turbine. We should still be able to use Bernoulli if our point 1 is right after the pump, correct? Somewhat off topic question: What is the best method to estimate the pressure in a section of pipe? Currently I have a system curve that estimates the total head required at a specific flow rate. But I am interested in determining gage pressure at an x distance of pipe under a specific flow rate. Appreciate your help.

How do you measure the desnity of the fluid to determine the speed using eq: v=sqrt[(p2-p1)/rho]?

If it is air, you can use the ideal gas law. For liquids, you can look up the values in tables.
