We have covered many cases involving CPS making massive errors, but the idea that they could review a home containing two felons, one a 29-time felon, and think "Yeah, this is a good placement for a baby" is just mind-blowing. Cys is pa gave my brother and I to our biological father after our beautiful yet broken mother tested positive for drugs. In my father's home we were beaten, starved, tortured, had no running water. Nothing but 2 outfits the church gave me, no hygiene products as I was just going through puberty, locked and forced to sleep in a basement with dog feces and clothing molding for years and a broken door to the outside where snow would come in. Oh, and both my step mom and father were Crack heads. I'm 36 now and still struggle with the life we had as children. Cys/cps are jokes.

I'm glad you pointed that out because as a retired RN, I feel the same. I almost killed someone once by not rechecking the allergy label of an elderly man who we were pepping for almost immediate transfer to a larger facility. The doctor in the ED added it after the other IVAB's, and I didn't recheck with the RN who had checked off the other antibiotics, but the responsibility was mine. I can remember this as vividly today as I could the night it happened, and that was 20 years ago. If he had died I would have lost my nursing licence and be charged for his death in a court of law and I STRONGLY believe that CPS workers MUST be held to a much higher standard than they are now. We have babies and children dying in their "care" daily, and legislative changes must take place to reduce this number. Anything else is unsatisfactory! BTW, the older gentleman was riddled with cancer, which is why the poor man was in so much pain when the other RN and I were trying to insert an IDC. He died a couple of months later in Palliative Care!

CPS refused to transport the child to relatives (deeming them unsuitable) but transported her to drug-using felons…if the child was never in their custody, why not transport her to whoever her mom wanted to care for her? Ugh.
@barbrothers2
@barbrothers2 4 ай бұрын
she should have just been able to stay with her dad. the fact that he was "in the house" while the mother was using drugs is not reason enough for him to not get to keep her, especially since biological parents take care of their kids much better than other people, esp non-relatives, even if they are using drugs. the little girl was clearly fine under her mothers care even though her mom was using meth. using drugs doesnt inherently make you an unsuitable parent imo because people have a natural instinct to care for their own kids. however a drug addict isnt going to have that same level of care for kids that are not their own... hence why Khaleesi is dead 😢

@@barbrothers2 I honestly suspect that they were going "We didn't have custody, teehee~!" because if they'd had to actually go in front of a judge and defend refusing the father custody on such absurd grounds, they'd probably be doing really well to get just a flat "WTF no." They'd also potentially have to actually justify their decisions in court, because they actually had done the paperwork to be responsible for the kid and have an actual say...and that might also cause people to go and check to see if they've had a habit of denying people custody for at best merely stupid reasons. (I'm not going to blame Khaleesi's mom for not knowing to ask somebody outside of CPS to come pick her up so she could get dropped off with her dad, because she shouldn't be needing to know when to say "Sit and spin, Karen" to a social worker.)

@@ryohoshi8445 I just wish Khaleesi's mom fought the decision and insisted on her being with her dad so that if cps wanted to press the issue, there would have been a court case and theres no chance a judge wouldn't give her to her dad. Or leave children in abusive homes. So many cases presented on this channel shed light on just how incompetent and unbelievably negligent CPS truly is, or can be. In one case, they will give a mother of 5/6, who has had her children removed, and hasn't completed her parenting classes or her substance abuse program... That should've been mandatory. I'm assuming it was to help her receive government housing and related benefits. This woman couldn't take care of herself, and didn't seem to be attempting to, or making any positive progress. On top of that CPS doesn't investigate all of the new claims of abuse. They close out the case and leave the children there to suffer, and eventually worse. No criminal charges can be made against them. BS!!! And now with this case, this sweet and precious Angel seemed to have TWO parents that loved and took great care of her!!! The mother was seemingly trying to fight her addiction and recover, intentionally & willingly. *But she was removed from the program and an instant warrant was issued for her. Due to her not completing 1 assignment??? WTF does that mean?? Was it a simple misunderstanding? Did she miss a group meeting? Did she start writing a paper, but didn't complete it? It seems like it must have been something insignificant, but they reacted as if she did something heinous & unforgivable! So, at the end of the day CPS had, "Nothing to do with placing this child". Nor did they have any intention or responsibility to check on or protect this precious baby!?!? Am I right, or am I missing something!?! **If that's true, how in the hell could they prevent this baby girl from staying in HER home with HER Daddy?!?!? Who Loves her, is willing, and is able to take care of her! They didn't claim she couldn't stay there for anything he has done. Which tells me, he doesn't have any abuse allegations/records, doesn't have a known drug problem, and there's no reason HE couldn't care for his child. (CPS just wanted to be difficult!) They said because the mother and father shared the residence... Guess what, it's also the babies home. Where she's comfortable, safe, and happy. Why should she get stripped away from HER home!? She hasn't done anything wrong and there's no report that she isn't safe. She's happy, healthy, & thriving!! Even moreso, the mothers being removed. So there shouldn't be any further issues. Regardless, CPS somehow BELIEVED that the home they drove this precious angel to was somehow, "better suited". With a, "friend" on house arrest and substance issues, in a relationship+living with a career criminal with 29+ felonies including violence!! This is the ONLY option approved by CPS for this poor Mother, (who seems to actually be worthy of the name and is trying her best to find a safe temporary home for her child, she's out of time, and the people she trusts the most, "can't take the baby in".) So she is left with a friend who she has trusted to babysit and has had 6 kids of her own, one of them being close to the same age as her daughter. Somehow CPS insisted this home was the ONLY acceptable option. But ruled out the toddlers Aunt, as well as her own father, along with her personal home!!?? If they weren't placing the child, then they weren't removing her either.... Right??? Because if they removed her, they should be obligated to check in and watch over her. Guaranteeing that she is healthy, safe, and they're taking proper care of her. Ensuring she is not being neglected or abused. Right?? If CPS has no further intention or obligations to this child and her care, HOW did they have ANY say over who she's with and where!?!? She should have been at home with her father the whole time!!! Legislation NEEDS to be MADE ASAP to hold these people accountable!! If they can possess and Wield Authority, then they also need to be held accountable when there is, Neglect and/or Death, on THEIR watch!!!!

They took this loved little girl from her mother and handed her over like a package, without making sure that the “foster mother “ was really suitable. What is so annoying is that a business can be charged with corporate murder so why can’t these agencies that are meant to look after and protect children be treated the same. You know, if you or I were negligently driving a car, ran into a child, they would at least charge us with negligent homicide, and send us to prison. If we were (unknowingly) growing poisonous plants by our houses, a child got into them and ate them and died, we would also be charged with at least negligent homicide, perhaps manslaughter. It appears CPS, whose job it is to look out for children whose living situation puts them at risk would be held to a higher standard.

Background checks are B.S. anyway, it doesn't mean they're a good person.. Instead of trying to figure out the family situation, they chose to do the easiest option for them and NO paperwork. The aunt let him know because she has been taking the boys to several doctors. Now they want to grant the sister gaurdianship.. My son gets him twice a month as scheduled. His son lived with him three years. Its not as if he is an absentee father. But they over rode his rights. So now he is going to file for full custody. Mom apparently started beating and kicking him. So he was removed. She never follows exchanges or times nor provides information..but the court favours her. These angencies and judges never seem to consider the children. Its ridiculous. Placing a child with someone who lost their children makes perfect since to CPS. Their name alone is a conundrum.

this type of emotional abuse happened to me as a child, and im so thankful i had grandparents who would give me just enough time away from my mother to live a semi-okay life outside of her. this poor girl deserved much better

My friend lost her 3 children to cps because she had to go to jail for a few months ,Cps gave them to a druggie aunt who abused & neglected them all ,she fought so hard just to get them back & it took years but she did it. They made her jump through hoops just to get her own kids away from a junkie that was using them for the benefits & clearly neglecting them! CPS is an absolute joke. They came to my house one single time to inform me my childs Dad had left our 5yr son and his other 2yr old alone and he overdosed and died! They found out the kids were alone when he went to the hospital . I spent days grief striken. I got a call days later from my son's Dad, Yes back from the dead! I didn't even believe it was him ! CPS lied! He did overdose but No ,he didn't die! They then told me to keep my kid away from him .I have because of his obvious lifestyle. They always mess up so unbelievably in dire situations but in ordinary situations they go way overboard & always end up fighting for the wrong kids!

This horrific tragedy occurred in my hometown. As a community, we looked everywhere for that beautiful baby girl. Candy and Travis are despicable. And the local CPS and law enforcement is a joke. Had they done their jobs properly, this, and many other horrible crimes, would have never happened. Sad doesn’t even come close to describing all of this. That sweet baby deserved so much better. Fly high baby girl. We still love you.

We need to do something about it! We should take action and hold CPS accountable for its constant failures. I can’t take it anymore! Sitting here and listening alone isn’t helpful We should vote for senators and representatives who are agreeable to change the laws and pierce the veil of immunity and expose these monsters system calling them CPS employees. It’s our money going to them and they keep frustrating us

Well now her name (Candy) can finally make sense. Now she looks like one of those peppermint candies that people have already grown tired of and just toss away each year. 😂😂

As a fellow Mainer, thank you for sharing these stories... I've been following you guys since the very beginning, I love that you have grown so big as a channel and are reaching so many people... WE as a society need to hear and see the reality of what these babies go through, otherwise, nothing will change! You both are making a difference!!! I say, if the videos make you uncomfortable, then you NEED to watch it !!!!

There are so many people who let this child down. Her mother is not without blame. If she had been a good mother, she would not have been in jail for her own selfish reasons.

The poor baby shares the same birthdate as myself, I cannot imagine not being able to celebrate your birthday- especially as a child. Happy belated birthday, sweetheart. You didn't deserve this; no child deserves to go through so much pain and I'm absolutely disgusted by CPS consistently failing children, these cases should be a clear sign of what CPS shouldn't do! Things need to change, the sooner the better

So this 'social worker' gave the baby to a woman who couldn't even come pick the baby up due to being on house-arrest? Say what?! How do you drive this baby over to this woman's house in good conscience, and not think 'who the hell made this terrible decision?' Man I really just can't stand sh*tty social workers who think and act like they know what's going on and what's 'best' for everyone. Also, it was a huge waving red-flag when someone on social media asked Candace 'who's baby?' and she replied with 'mine for now'? Um no ma'am that baby is most definitely not yours!

If someone had my child and refused to let me see them all hell is breaking loose. So the father was going over bringing money and accepting that he can’t see his daughter.
