As someone who used to be able to consistently do Ultra nightmare DOOM ETERNAL, Crab Champions felt right at home. It’s ALL about movement. I think it goes Movement, Economy, and finally literally everything else

I'm a person who does a whole greed build, cause Glass Cannon with Jug, extra Hearts mixed with big hearts, with other damage mods, and heal hits. Make you a full Damage mode.

i just had an insane session with 2 of my buddies, one of us was so rich because he bought some weird trait that gace him tons of money and everytime when we were on the shop he bought it empty and dropped us what we needed it was insane. we stopped at island 120 because we needed sleep etc. with a mixture of greed perks i had 650k health, the one rich friend was squishy but he oneshotted everything (the boss at round 120 took us 3 seconds im not kidding) and our other friend specialized in beeing the "explosives guy" idk if that was a big run or if that is just a run that someone on a high level would call a "casual run" i still dont rly know much about synergies etc of mods just what i guess will work .. that run was mad fun and it didnt feel "hard" at all have to admit tho it was on normal difficulty so tomorrow or in the future we said we will reproduce this (hopefully)

Im on round 200 with minigun and literally i did like 4.000.000 damage with one clip to the practice skull on the shop, and i have like 10 grenades every 5 seconds and around 6 dashes with the perk that freezes enemies when you dash

Same man, had a run with the minigun and got a greedperk right away which gave me alot of shards every island. I could buy every upgrade I wanted the whole run and ended the run myself on island 300 as there was nothing more to get out of the run 😂 I was so strong I could have gone way further if i wanted to. The mini gun with all weapon, grenade and skill upgrades is insanity. I had alot of skills up to like lvl 70

yes. plenty of people have done that but you definitely have to know what you're doing to keep a run going long enough to get to that point so good job!

How does armor work? Is it a percentage of your hp? Once I got lucky and got 16k hp on the first boss, I added the perk with gaining armor every island. Got to island 90 with out losing the 2 bars of armor lol. Also had the mini gun and could basically shoot endlessly. This game is so full with fun builds, specially when you get later on the islands. I love how hard, punishing and rewarding it feels. Waited 3 years and definitely not disappointed

Minigun is just too good. But armor scales with HP for sure. It also negates elemental dmg and keeps combos alive!

hmmmm no, there's no way to change the soundtrack at the moment. There are different songs for each biome so tropical has different music than arctic which is different than volcanic!

Only Steam (PC) for the time being. It just hit early access on April 1 2023. Noisestorm has confirmed that he fully intends to bring this to as many modern consoles as possible once the game is in a much more finished "1.0" state on PC. My guess is April 2024 at the earliest.

the easy mode & normal mode are EASY ASF, i haven’t tried nightmare tho, they need more modes or more difficulty’s or idk, it needs to be harder & shotguns need a debuff bc theyre way too OP but yeah its fun

Risk of Rain 2 fans will be truly humbled by this game. RoR spoils you with too many tricks to get overpowered whilst Crab Champions doesn't, not even in easy mode. I almost 100% RoR2 and I can't even hit level 30 on Crab.
