@@nineleafclover nah they just have a requirement for some episodes to be 45+ minutes, even though it's usually preferable to them to end earlier(since that's the normal base used to be 10 mins). that's more them treating this as an actual game and want to play in their own time rather than part of the job.

Let's hope the analytics is encouraging enough to keep them playing it on the show. Also, while it's beloved, its fanbase isn't as big or annoying as the Souls or Zelda fanbases, so maybe the comment section would be pleasant to read for once, but I digress.

@1:30 you would think cigarette butts are paper and tobacco as Arin suggested, and they used to be like that , but the filter actually contains 15,000 individual strands of plastic which means every time a single cigarette enters any body of water (ocean, lake, pond) microplastic is entering too. And the paper dissolves but the plastic doesn’t and it’s too small for us to see but fish eat it and it never goes away. So if you see someone flicking a butt on the road, ask them to dispose of it in the trash, it’s honestly the easiest fix we have and it just takes awareness.

As someone who did litter picking at a motorsport track I can confirm people litter alot of cigarette butts. It's easily the most frequent kind of litter and they were everywhere to the point the circuit owner had a hard on for getting rid of them on big events (he was a nice guy and understood that it was unreasonable to get rid of all of them, they were just his pet peeve). On smaller events I'd often spend the whole day just picking up cigarette butts and fill most of a trash bag with them. The thing that makes them hard to decompose is the filter in the butts.

Yeah I see cigarette butts all over the ground at work, and most infuriatingly, *right next to the cigarette disposal* The disposal doesn’t have an open top so the cigarettes don’t fall out, and I watched someone drop and squish a cigarette right next to it as well. Literally touching it type of close. Pisses me off If that’s how it looks when there is a very easy and accessible place to get rid of the butts, then I can’t imagine how it looks when there isn’t any of that at all. Thank you for cleaning up

re: cigarette butts being destructive... the filter isn't cotton like you might think, but contains plastics that make the butt take up to 10 years to biodegrade, and that's not to mentioned the toxins from the cigarette itself that end up inside the filter and leech into the environment where they biodegrade
