I always felt so bad for Magikey once I realized Halq was the only thing keeping it together. I really hope it gets some support in the future that makes it feel more like the unique deck that it was always meant to be.

They should honestly add a new effect monster that searches and counts as a normal when using the Magikey monster effects or special summoning conditions.

They (Konami) did the Vendread deck dirty. You have to jump through too many hoops to get to a competent board and it still don’t be enough. And when it is…you lose to time or make a mistake because of it. Happens to me a lot. 😓

Funny how the Mathmech player went for summoning Final Sigma instead of the typical Turn 1 Superfactorial/Laplacian setup for disruption on your turn. Especially given that you had Evenly Matched in hand to punish him having a full board. Sus🤔
