As far as I can tell Crabmaster duel misplayed a lot with this deck so here are some improvements that you all can incorporate (because then Paleo is actually fairly easy). 1. This deck is a control deck. So don’t vomit out your interactions like crazy. You wanna make your opponent play around every single card you set. 2. Don’t let them destroy your paleos so they go back to GY. This includes link summoning with Paleos that you didn’t flip with Daruma. 3. Card advantage isn’t everything (you still wanna use those cards). So Fiend comedian, Hope and Accumulated Fortune in one list is too much. Play Tarantulizing as it can unbrick you on top of generating advantage. 4. Finally weaponize everything you have. So play Marincess Armorellia with Zelantis for an extra deck Field wipe and otk enabler. With those tips the game plan is to mill and chill while making your opponent questioning their choices by activating Daruma after their combo or when they are about to access an omni. Accumulated Fortune is a tech that is played (as far as I know) in Exodia Paleo because that deck always tries to maintain a constant flow of draws. If you want to have cards in hand immediately, I recommend using Traptantalizing Tune, Reckless Greed or any of the pots

You can’t copy the pots with rollback so the pots are actually not that good. You special a lot (so Duality is bad). You need your ED (so Extrav is bad). You need your MD and the advantage Grass gives you (so Desires is bad). And Prosperity doesn’t give you card advantage so Marilla is often times the better Prosperity. The other pots are either unplayable or not that good. Your Drawcards should be Balance of Judgement and Traptantalizing Tune. (Good for Rollback, good to mill, good in hand). At least as far as I know this was the arguments.

Pots are one of many options and obviously have their own peculiarities to which you must adapt your deck, which was implicit in my comment Rollback is a strong card but basing all the cards you use on that alone is not the point either, using Traptantalizing Tune is as impractical as any pot in that sense Balance of Judgment is not good and Reckless Greed is a better option. Besides, Duality and Prosperity are not as bad as you make them out to be. A more correct criticism would be to say that the number of cards you draw does not equal the cost And I didn't recommend grass because the deck shown here is a 40 card deck, grass is limited and reasoning already does the same

@@Inu3KL what I was trying to say is that Pots aren’t as good as they seem for this deck, since most can’t even be played and those that can (Desire, ED pot) have the problem that you may banish important cards and that they don’t give you advantage. But you need card advantage in a control deck. Tarantulazing Tune is better than the Pots as it generates Advantage by discarding your Paleos to GY while also having a beneficial GY effect. Rollback is the reason why this deck is as strong as it is as with Leoncolia any normal trap set you play is tripled (3 Rollback and 3 Leoncolia). Your statement that Judgement is better than Greed is for 99% of decks correct. But this deck is a control/stall deck. So you plan to prolong the duel as long as you can so your opponent runs out of resources. So Greed doesn’t give you any form of Advantage at all as your normal draw is more important than you give it credit for. Judgement not only allows you to bounce back via double activation from Rollback but also allows you to draw more cards potentially. Finally I didn’t mention Grass but yeah this card is probably the strongest card you have. But Reasoning doesn’t do the same as Grass because Grass has a hole other quality. Again this is my experience and my knowledge about the deck and how the deck works. Just my opinion that I wanted to present in contrast to yours. Maybe I missed something, maybe there is even a better way to play we both don’t see. Anyways Have a nice day AEther

In my original comment I never implied that it is the best option or the only one "Tarantulazing Tune is better than the Pots" I didn't say otherwise. You talk about pots being a bad option in relation to the fact that they are not targets for roll: "You can’t copy the pots with rollback so the pots are actually not that good" and I say that under that same logic Tarantulazing Tune would be a bad option too R.G is also an objective for roll and resolves immediately while balance requires a more specific context. It is better, maybe not the definitive tech but it is more viable by far "Rollback is the reason why this deck is as strong as it is as with Leoncolia any normal trap set you play is tripled 2" Whether roll is strong or not was not the point. You are losing the focus of the discussion. if you want to cook even harder: add a dragonmaid engine to this: using: parlor: laundry, and they dragon counterparts: plus 1 continuous trap, plus 1 dragonmaid changeover, plus 1 continuous spell, and then the fusion dragonmaids.

That makes the deck have unnecessary bricks. Paleo only needs to send cards to the GY (especially now with Rollback) and trigger traps. The monsters are carried in their minimum expression to speed up the Mill or to be food for XYZ/Links

Elemental Burst? It's a bit misleading, because that card is used by Transaction Rollback's effect in the graveyard. If Roll is banned it disappears from all controls deck

It is a card that you cannot carry to many copies because it becomes a brick and you do not always have it in hand. In addition to that, there are several types of removal and high-impact cards like duster are not very accessible or difficult to use
