Look down on? Nah people with addiction are far stronger than the rest of us. It is just a coping mechanism to deal with the unimaginable suffering they have been forced to endure. Meanwhile the rest of is worry and cry over nonsense that is literally just fantasy.

@@sarahalderman3126Drug addiction is a weakness, if they were strong they would have the mental fortitude to get off the drugs. I can understand having empathy and compassion for their situation. But calling them stronger than the non-addicted is a blatant lie.
@sarahalderman3126 Жыл бұрын
@@7996hobguy you are apparently missing the fact that addict’s have endured and therefore must cope with things the rest of us could not even fathom. Those traumatized at a young age must learn to cope with things most adults could not even comprehend. “Addiction” is simply a coping method manifesting as an eating disorder, ocd, countless mental disorders, drug addictions, shopping addictions, sex/porn addictions, social media addictions, and quite literally any process that allows them to alleviate their pain/suffering temporarily in order to function. Unfortunately it does not “work” long term, but that is a consequence of the trauma/damage to their being perpetrated by the predators who hurt them as children. Every human being has needs and children who are forcefully deprived of those needs must meet their own needs in some manner. Every addiction known to mankind functions as such. Those who are non addicts are literally just those who never suffered, to the extent that they needed to resort to these alternative means of meeting their needs, due to the damage influencing upon them.

Dearest Caroline, May I first start off by saying that I apologize. I apologize for the lack of protection in your life. I apologize that you weren’t believed, I apologize that nothing was done. This is the story of so many families, including my own. The Incest, childhood SA, and molestation truly stop your growth. You had the courage to come forward and was instantly shunned. For that, I apologize. You are a beautiful woman. Life moves fast, I know you have regrets. You are so courageous! I believe you, I hear you, I SEE you! It’s my mission to break generational curses in our community. There is power in words, by telling your story, you’ve released so many demons and burdens. I’m VERY proud of you. This is so tragic; there are no words. Someone needs to help her. She’s like a sweet, but shattered lady. God help her.❤

You are worthwhile Caroline! I hope that whoever hurt you gets the heaviest karma...you didn't deserve to be abused and mistreated. I am an addict also and I can feel your pain. You deserve to be treated like you matter and be happy as well. Kisses 💋 for you mama..

This story like so many others has really impacted me. Through all of her hurt and pain, she still has a solid and strong faith in God! So many would have given up a long time ago, but this woman remains strong and she is a fighter! I am sorry for the hurt and pain she has experienced and I pray that God will grant her the peace, restoration and wholeness she seeks! And He will!

Her faith in life despite what she has gone through is at once heartbreaking and a consolation.

Praying is a great thing to do, but we as a society shouldn't left everything to god, we must take action as well and help her and others. There is a gofund in the description or Mark tell us what else we can do to help this wonderful woman

I speak in a general way regardless of people beliefs. It doesn't matter if you believe in a God or not, it is our responsibility as a society to help others. And yes, I put "preying" instead of praying, it was a mistake and I already corrected it, English is not my first language (you also have orthographic mistakes btw) ; but you should concentrate on the message given.

@bobproctor-ne9tgtf are you talking about, you are the one showing who you are big time; i'm talking about helping this woman no matter the beliefs and you are criticizing me for that. Your "Christianity" comes to light smh. And you still haven't corrected your grammar lol

@bobproctor-ne9tg Aren't you supposed to spell "his" with a capital "H" - ? Anyway, hope you got something out of your conversation with yourself.

@bobproctor-ne9tgyes, you are criticizing because there is nothing wrong with my comment. You are just a bitter person who judges instead of helping others. I'm so sorry for you and hope you find the peace you need. Now, instead of responding to my comment, use that energy to help people like this wonderful woman, at least I will.

This poor woman. It breaks my heart that the kid who these people once were, in most of these stories, were dealt the worst hands at life and never had a chance.

I feel for her so much, this childhood trauma destroyed her trajectory! I hope she can get into contact w/ an EMDR Therapist (trauma release)… It might help uplift her heed to numb. There has to be Medicare providers that provide this type of therapy. Sending this strong and wise woman positivity, strength and safety…
