There are only 5 months left for CAT. Are there any topics from QA or DILR which we can leave or if we just only clear the basics of that topic but did not spend extra time on those?

Number System, Geom, modernaths. Make sure you finish Algebra and Arithmetic. DILR don't leave. Nobody knows what might come, make sure you're able to solve easy to medium level problems from all types. DILR isn't very vast, It's just unpredictable.

I am an engineer (genral & male) and I recently graduated with a work offer and I have a question that should I work for 12 months and then appear for CAT 2025 or appear for CAT 2024 with just 5 months of preparation as a fresher? Option 1: Work in a corporate setting with an entry level job and less scope of growth Option 2: Work at a startup, but the startup is completely WFH, so does WFH count as work ex?
