I took the teas test last week and this material was literally identical. It appear so simple, but if you don’t know the material it will be hardest subject to get good score on !!! Make sure to do practice test very similar to this KZbin video the material on ATI was not helpful on this material. Practice test A&B were not as helpful. ATI package did go the material but I’ll have to say it didn’t help with English portion I did horrible in this subject like bad it should of been subject fast and easy but when you don’t know the material, it is extremely hard I took up all of my time, and I had to guess on so many of them because I had no idea.

I thought prepostions were like above about across around .. at against among along in into out and near... I never heard of despite being a prep

It's a bit less intuitive compared to ones that indicate direction or location, like "in" or "near," but it's used to show contrast or contradiction. For example, in the sentence "Despite the rain, we went hiking," "despite" introduces the idea that even though it was raining, the action of going hiking still took place.
