Good tips, we'll keep them in mind when we set off later (not too much later I hope!) this year. I love your videos, I find them more relatable than most. I've especially enjoyed seeing Tassie, I think I've convinced my partner we should do four months or so there after we've explored the west.

Ohh thank you so much for watching. You won’t regret 4 months in Tassie, there is so much to see! Enjoy your travels!

Another good one, we enjoy your content and you are down to earth. We have followed lots of travellers over the last couple of years but they get to fancy buying bigger vans and tugs, good work keep going. We have just returned from 5 week Tassie tour with our van, you info was very helpful. But we need to go back and watch again now we missed that little walkway in the water, need to find out where that is again Thank you Trev & Deb
@hapninemptynesters9 ай бұрын
Ohh thank you so much! There is so much we have missed in Tassie as well. Rocky Cape Boat Ramp in Tassie’s North is where that footage was taken and it has to be one of my favourite hidden spots we found. It’s only a day use area but WOW!

love to go, to Tasmania, ferry is booked up for vans fuel is a killer, I have one of the more fuel-efficient tugs Land Rover sdv6 254 hp 600 nm, and if you travel only 3 full days out of seven you,ll be shelling out more than staying in your house
@hapninemptynesters9 ай бұрын
@@stuarth43 it depends on your travel days. Now we are lucky to do 100km and we probably only travel 3 times a week, if that. In Tassie it has often been only 50km a day. Everything is so close.

Hi, have been enjoying your videos one tip I would suggest is instead of using toilet chemicals install a SOG system, we have and haven’t regretted it. Initial outlay is a bit but in the long run saves using chemicals.
@hapninemptynesters9 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching! We have heard that but I’m not sure if it would work in our shower combo. However it’s worth looking into it. Thanks for the tip.

Hello Fellow Townsvillians, enjoyed your episode thanks. We are heading off around Christmas to begin fulltime travel and I was working out a budget and came to the same conclusion, it's cheaper than living at home. I was doubtful about my workings so it was great that you confirmed that for us 😃 Those bikes sound interesting, how much do they weigh?
@hapninemptynesters9 ай бұрын
HELLO 👋 It’s good to hear we aren’t the only ones thinking this way! Our bikes are amazing but they do weigh 26kg each. We actually bought them at Jayco in Townsville. We will be up in Townsville in May and June if you would like to meet up. Message me on socials.
