First of all thank you everyone for the wonderful comments. None the less, there are few mistakes that I have made and I really apologise for them. Here are a few updates with respect to doubts and corrections as asked in the comment section. 1. In question 1, according to UPSC Answer key, correct answer would be D. And if this question is asked again in upcoming years the answer will remain the same. You have been provided with an explanation in current context. 2. In question 6, though UPSC has marked D as correct option. But still, I would go with option A. You can refer NCERTs and other textbooks. Per capita income is defined as a concept of NNP. 3. In question 39, the correct answer is D. RBI can advise commercial banks on monetary matters. 4. In question number 50, the borrowing limit of Scheduled Banks (excluding Regional Rural Bank) under the MSF scheme has been raised from 2 per cent to 3 per cent of their Net Demand and Time Liabilities (NDTL). This value is time and again revised by RBI. 5. In question 75, the key term of the question was “can help in reducing CAD”. So options 1 and 3 “can definitely contribute in reducing CAD. There might be few people who might think that FII and FDI are components of Capital account, so how will help in reducing CAD. We need to read the statement again. Adopting policies might mean increasing our manufacturing base which might help in attracting FII and FDI and also will increase India’s capability to export more. Hence reducing CAD. The word “can help” is of utmost importance.

Q75 at 4:01:32 , answer should be (D) option, as if we devalue our currency, ofcourse we have to pay more money as compare to before, but instead of paying 5 more (devalue to 85 from 80), we will also get 85 more. So net surplus will be of 80 rs.
