Fun Story No One Cares About: I had a $5 allowance when Urza's Saga was current. I would use it to buy a pack and some candy every week. The first **FIVE** packs all had Lightning Dragon as the rare. I stopped buying packs after that and saved to buy a Gaea's Cradle every month (my favorite card). I bought 4, and they all got stolen at school a year later.

Great video! The editing is great as always, very satisfying! Spoiler I do wonder if the drum roll right before the Cradle pull at 20:50 might be a little too telegraphing of the pull. I feel like the goal is to build anticipation, but the hype sound only showing up before the good pull spoils that the pull is going to be good. I do like the sound played after the great pulls, like what was done for Serra's Sanctum at 15:11. IMO something like either toning back the anticipation sound and using it all the time, replacing it with a different, smaller anticipation noise and using it everywhere, or just using the after sound, would be a bit more suspenseful.

I remember buying packs of saga at the wizards of the coast store in metro Detroit, right before playing MTG in the back of the store. It was crazy, we were a spectacle because shoppers would just come watch us. I was 14, good times thanks for the opening. I sold part of my collection during the pandemic but will always keep some core cards and had quite a few of these in my old collection, I even played a zephid deck with zephids embrace.

I remember buying stronghold and tempest. I could still walk Into a card store and buy ice age and legends commons for next to nothing. I remember the unglued cards that were just out of control. Sadly I sold everything I had to someone who honestly gave me a fair price at the time after I got out of the army and needed some cash. Still wish I had them today. Hopefully he still has them. Remember watching my buddy pull a mox diamond. Best card I pulled was a sliver queen. Edot- Keep the rest of your cards if you can. It still makes me sad I sold all of mine.

When I was a kid I saved up all my hard earned money and bought a saga box. I was so disappointed when I opened it and there were no foils-I didn't know foils were released in ULG and saga preceded that set. I thought the best and most expensive cards could only be foils. I was so bummed out. I opened cradle, yawg's will, sneak attack, you name it. And unceremoniously put them all in my bulk rare bin 😂

Noetic Scales is one of my favorite Stax pieces for low power Commander, I find that alot of my games end up with someone with a massive creature and no cards. This is amazing and punishes the go tall decks. I run it in Prossh, as a ghetto bounce. No infinite combos. Just all good ETBS.
