New Slime Rancher buildings:
►The Lab
The Lab is a new ranch expansion, much like the Grotto and Overgrowth. It features some new, empty ranch patches for you to customize, but the main attraction lies in the old barn that Hobson once built sitting near the back. Within this barn you’ll find a strange array of scientific equipment that will allow you to harness the power of plorts and other resources to create gadgets.
Gadgets come in a variety of forms: everything from helpful utilities to decorative objects and more.
But before you build anything you’ll need the necessary ingredients. About half of the ingredients come in the form of plorts and the other half from resources previously undiscovered.

►The Refinery
The Lab contains a large, silo-like device called the refinery. The refinery is a one-way storage unit for your plorts and resources you intend to use in Slime Science. No need to have the items in your vac tanks when fabricating gadgets, the refinery keeps it all neatly organized for you.
►The Builder’s Shop
The builder’s shop is a special shop for budding Slime Scientists that allows them to purchase gadget blueprints. Once acquired, the specified gadgets can be fabricated so long as you have the necessary ingredients.
►The Fabricator
The fabricator allows you to build any gadget so long as you have its blueprint. Once built, the gadget can be placed at any build site.
►Build Sites
Once you built some gadgets you’ll want to place them. And using a special new upgrade to your vacpack, you’ll be able to see all the available build sites in the world. Then it’s just a matter of choosing which gadget goes where! Build sites are located all over the world, including your ranch.
►Extractors
In addition to plorts, all gadgets will require new, unique resources. These resources can be acquired in a variety of ways, but the most dependable method is to use a series of gadgets known as extractors.
Extractors include drills, pumps, and apiaries and can be placed at any build site. Over time they collect resources and must be emptied periodically. Drills will unearth gems and minerals, pumps will siphon up oils and other fluids, and apiaries will harvest honey and other bee products.

Slime Rancher is the tale of Beatrix LeBeau, a plucky, young rancher who sets out for a life a thousand light years away from Earth on the 'Far, Far Range' where she tries her hand at making a living wrangling slimes. With a can-do attitude, plenty of grit, and her trusty vacpack, Beatrix attempts to stake a claim, amass a fortune, and avoid the continual peril that looms from the rolling, jiggling avalanche of slimes around every corner. Each day will present new challenges to players as they attempt to amass a great fortune in the business of slime ranching.

You should always keep chickens with you when adventuring in the wild. It will make your job a lot easier

Also a full tank of water! If one's inventory winds up full, they can't properly dispose of plorts, so Tarrs are rather common.

I have an idea for you if you want sabers in your ranch, so first go into the wilds, get some saber plorts, bring them home, grab a random slime of your choice, put it in a different corral, and last, feed it the saber plort!

This is how I prepared for The Wilds: 1. Designate entirety of plots in the Overgrowth expansion to growing fruit and/or being silos 2. Have two drones 3. Have one drone farm the fruit and put it away in the silo so you don't have to do it yourself 4. Have the other drone pick up all of the chickens that spawn, and put them in the silo too 5. Wait 6. You'll eventually amass way too many chickens 7. Now you can just suck up a bunch of chickens, take them to The Wilds, and feed the feral slimes so they don't kill you (All of them eat meat and one chicken is enough) Just make sure you have good aim, try to waste as few chickens as possible. They *do* run out fast.

Without going into the pure scientific and botanical definition of a fruit and a vegetable, the easiest way to determine if something is a fruit or vegetable and be right most of the time is a fruit is something the plant produces that is meant to be eaten as a method to spread the seeds, which is why many seeds need to pass through an animal's digestive system first to be viable, so because of this reason plants make fruits as attractive as possible such as being sweet and pleasant tasting as well as nutritious. Vegetables on the other hand are the parts of the plant it doesn't want animals to eat like the leaves, stalks, roots and flowers of the plant which if eaten at the very least will seriously injured the plant or prevent them from reproducing or otherwise flat out kill the plant. To prevent this plants will use alkaloids, sulfides and other chemicals to make them as unpleasant tasting and foul smelling as possible all in hope that animals would find the to unappealing to eat. Oh and by the way, rutabagas are a type of turnip and are also appropriately known as yellow turnips!

Fruits have seeds, vegetables are the seeds. Like, apples have cores, and there are seeds in it, but potatoes, you stick in the ground to grow more potatoes. The only exceptions are cucumbers, and the seeds of a fruit don't count. So, Apple seeds aren't a vegetable, just a seed.

if you haven't already noticed, there are 5 kookadoba fruits in each mudball. and if you use your vac on the nutcracker while its cracking a mudball, you have a less chance of losing kookadoba fruits.

The biggest different between a fruit and a vegetable is that fruit are just the reproductive part of a plant (embryos and seeds), where as veggies generally are the plant, including the stock, roots, leaves, and so on.

What I do is I bring a lot of different plorts with me to the wilds because tarr slimes are a lot easier to deal with than feral slimes. This is ironic since tarr are supposed to be the worst of the worst, but they’ll eat all the feral slimes, and then you’ll be able to simply destroy the tarr with water from your tank.
