I’ve been binging your videos and really enjoying how informative they are. I know you reviewed the magnoli deluxe bullwhip but do you think you could review their kangaroo hide bullwhip? I’m assuming the quality is better than their deluxe whip but I’d be curious to see if that would be comparable to a whip from Todd’s costumes.

Hi! Thanks for your question. I’m probably just going to save up for a roohide whip from a professional maker instead of Magnoli since I haven’t seen any reviews of their own kangaroo hide whip. I’d suggest getting a Todd’s whip as the better prop since it’s more durable and functional.

I have one of their eight foot Whiskey Bull Whips I do believe? But I didn't think that you could actually crack them? I wonder how it'll hold up compared to a David Morgan???

Magnoli whips are mainly for belt displays. Whilst they are useable, they don’t crack the best. A David Morgan whip would definitely hold up better.

@@rustybullwhips2084 Yeah I talked to Trent about the one I bought awhile back. He said they didn’t really hold up well when in use a lot. So that’s why I haven’t cracked my Magnoli one at all. I’ll get the David Morgan when I have the money. Lol

Is this the regular or the deluxe? I've ordered a regular and want to know how it'll hold up

It is the regular. It doesn’t hold up to regular cracking. It only has a rope core inside. Purely a belt hanger prop. I wouldn’t crack it too often as I’ve heard stories of them breaking.

@@rustybullwhips2084Whats your experience with the whip been so far? I’m mainly using it as a cosplay prop for my gun belt but I’d like to crack is every once in a while.

@@Psychlych It held up fine for me. I think it’ll be fine for occassional cracking, so you should be good.
