I commend you for getting CSWE at such young age. Your videos are amazing.

Hey, I found your series very helpful and I have a question. Wouldn't just using the move face feature to accomplish the same task be easier?

Great video but I have to ask isn't using the split feature a bit easier? You would just click the face to split the part into two bodies while both bodies are still solid bodies. Then you would just rotate the part using the Move/Copy body feature.

You are 100% right, the only reason I did this was to show a broader set of Solidworks features that may be used in other applications that would be required on the CSWE. But yes if you wanted to do what we did on this part, then using your method is exactly the best method.

Great Videos. They definitely helped provide an idea of what to expect on the exam for when I took the test. I am curious how you found your exam?

Hey thanks for watching. I found the exam to be pretty difficult at the time that I took it. I would say the biggest issue for me was checking over answers as there are some pretty tough questions where its hard to tell if you got it right. Time probably will not be an issue as there is lots of it, so make sure you check all your answers and you will do great :)

@@Lucas_Crupi Yeah, Time was definitely not a problem.... For sure, some of the problems were a bit tricky... gotta think outside of the box and do whatever works. haha thanks, I did do well :P I felt that the Professional Advanced exams were much trickier though.

Oh so you took the CSWE already, congratulations, did not catch that when I first read your comment. Yeah the CSWPA's tend to be a lot harder for the specific subject area but I think the CSWE still covers a broader range of material that you should know. The hardest exam that I have taken was Mold Tools and I have no intentions in trying to pass it soon.

@@Lucas_Crupi I didn't do well on Mold Tools either... I thought it would be easier that surfacing as I am a Solid Mechanics person.... oh boy, I was so mistaken. Also the practice does not prepare you for that test at all.
