On our way home from Nottingham in September 2009, our group stopped off at the Welsh National White Water Centre (formerly named "Canolfan Tryweryn") near Bala. Here we ran the Upper Tryweryn, not including the Top Site. This entailed getting on at the Chipper (a metal fish trap) and out at Chapel Falls. Most of the major rapids are shown and identified in the video. It was a 9 cumec release on the day. 19-9-09
Apologies for my terrible Welsh pronunciation and the absence of Bucks's crowd-pleasing neoprene shorts. After all, there were children around.
I did pick up something from my trip to Wales:
Canolfan Tryweryn = Tryweryn Centre
Afon Tryweryn = River Tryweryn
Here are loads of river guides and more info on the River Tryweryn:

I scanned pages 2 and 3 from the official National White Water Centre Brochure (designed by OaD Design). It gives directions and shows a detailed map of the Upper Tryweryn and the locations of all the rapids. The map can be a little disorientating as south is up and north is down.
