Cradle Animated Concept Trailer

Brought to you by Lex+Otis Animation Studio, this is an original trailer (AKA "sizzle reel") for what a Cradle fully animated series might look like! You're the first to see it after its debut at San Diego Comic-Con!
This was in development before our animation Kickstarter and doesn't represent our upcoming feature-length animatic (though you'll recognize some of the character designs). We made this trailer to show fans, and hopefully studios, how cool a Cradle animated series could be!
So we hope you enjoy this animated concept trailer, and that it leads to much more animated Cradle down the road!
The voices heard in the trailer are that of The Voice of Cradle himself, Travis Baldree, and veteran voice actor Morla Gorrondona who will be reprising her role as Elder Whisper in our Kickstarter animatic!

​@@pimpcactus6926I'm guessing it's for a more universal appeal, using something more akin to a hieroglyph will be easier for people to recognize anytime it becomes important. It works since "Empty" is in the world's old language, and just me personally, I think it's an addition that will only improve upon the story. The new symbol *feels* empty in the best way

@@pimpcactus6926 Because the original symbol is the Chinese character for "Empty," which cannot be trademarked or copyrighted. They had to change it in order to make something unique and trademarkable for the animation.

Will (can I call you Will?) this is absolutely amazing. I'm not sure if I’ve ever seen something match up so well with what I imagined while reading. That means not only was the animation (and thus planning/storyboarding/review/editing) all absolutely on point, it also means that the source material writing itself hit that perfect level of description to not be overwhelming yet remain detailed enough to paint the scene, and be memorable on top. So hats off to you, to Travis, to the animation team, and just everyone involved.

I saw this trailer when it first dropped by luck on my recommended. I'm now 20 chapters into Waybound after my hunger madra ate up the entire series. 1 month later, and this trailer hits much deeper after getting to know these characters.
