OK, just saw your price list. I guess the key is to make things truly on the cheap and make them look cute enough that people just want them.

With your "..build a snowman" kits, what is the icing supposed to be for? I saw that another commenter (Theresa Brewer) had inquired on this question awhile back but didn't see an answer to it.

HI there! It would be great if you could tell us on each item how long it took u to make them plus how much each item sold for ;) Also, how much you had to pay for your selling space at each craft or bizarre show. I used to do those shows years ago and it just wasn't worth it for me and I had great items. I sold in retirement homes and private houses that were on a Christmas tour route. Plus bigger Pavillion type craft and holiday shows.

@pikeandike6 жыл бұрын
Of course you sold out...selling them for a buck each! That’s cheap! I would sell them for at least $3 each. Maybe not the “make a snowman” one, but the others for sure. Thanks for the great ideas! 😎
@ruthbaldwin87066 жыл бұрын
The idea of having $1 items, is that it should make your booth cost (or at least half of it) back for you ...and your higher dollar items are your gold mine! :) That's how I have always done it...always have at least two $1 to $1.50 items!! :)
@bonniej39186 жыл бұрын
@@ruthbaldwin8706 ... that is good as long as you're happy... However I really smart person goes around to the craft shows buys up the dollars items that are handmade goes to the next bigger craft show and resells them along with their handmade items for two and three times as much... Now, I bet they were a whole lot happier. 🤓 So, I guess your "booth costs" were other Crafters "gold mines"!!! Ever hear the saying "work smart not hard"?? 🤔
