I have LOVE your channel and have been binging everything. I wanted to do my first craft fair this year but cancer had another idea for me. Well I am in treatment and working on items for a 2023 fair. Thank you for sharing your creativity and love for paper.

TFS. I am making a combo table favor of your tea and honey pouches and your cocoa/spoon pouches using hot cocoa mix, a silver mini-spoon, a candy cane tied on to the pouch, and a small Andes mint, all packaged in the Clear Bags sleeve. They are for a seniors’ luncheon at church andI think they will love them. So glad they sold well.

Selling at craft fairs is on my bucket List. I look forward to your craft fair videos every year. I look forward to watching them over Hallmark Christmas movies. Lol. Especially the end of the success of your sales. I also adore how your family is involved at these events with you. Thanks for sharing and looking forward to next year. Thanks Lisa

I decided last minute to add your new design "hot cocoa pouches" to our last fair of the season! They were such a hot seller! I thought I made too many and they were gone by the middle of our event lol! Thank you so much for sharing your ideas, I always look forward to your craft fair series.

Your tutorial style is a joy to watch. Sometimes I watch others who are small talking for a long length of time and then they don't have their stuff ready etc or it is overly edited. Yours are just perfect! I hope when Coppa shakes out it does not affect you. Take care Amber and Happy Holidays.

So happy you did well. It's really a learning experience. I absolutely LOVED your craft series; as well as all your series videos. I'm thinking about doing a few local craft fairs next year for Christmas. I'll definitely be making some of the craft items you've done. I hope you stick around and do more of these themed series. You've given me such inspiration through your tutorials and what I've learned from you is invaluable. I absolutely LOVE your channel and pray everything works out well for you and so many other crafters with this COPPA dilemma looming over KZbin creators. You're one of my favorites, Amber! Thank you for putting so much time, effort and talent into your channel. I admire you so!!! 😘

You share so much with us and that gives us a head start on what we can make, where we can get the supplies and the biggie--prices! I can't thank you enough for all of your sharing. Would you share one more piece of information? Where do you purchase the cellophane bags you use when you prepare your items to sell? They are a big part of your presentation and they always fit so well. Thank you.

So glad you had success at the craft fairs. We have a craft fair at my granddaughters high school. It benefits our marching band which my oldest granddaughter in senior drum major. The kids & parents volunteer to help vendors set up & tear down, we also take lunch orders & make the vendors lunch. It's our biggest money maker for our band, I hope that your craft fairs helped support a good cause. Merry Christmas to you & yours. Thanks for all the great ideas.

Thank you for sharing. I live in the Caribbean and I took some of your ideas for a small craft fair I was doing. People loved the hot chocolate packs (I put marshmellows and a candy cane with it) but the best of all were the lollipop favors. I actually made them to give as a freebie with each purchase and people put in orders for large amounts! So now I have a bunch of work when I thought I was done! Good work though. Thanks again!

I like your idea of just adding a candy cane & Marshmallows. Candy Cane are a lot cheaper & the only ones I've seen were from Dollar Tree. Well I wouldn't know since I haven't tried them but I've heard they're so bad they're only for decorations. I'd rather have stuff you can actually eat.

Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts on what is a bestseller or not. It's so hard when you sign up to do craft fairs to know what is going to sell or not! I have done many craft fairs and have had some of the heartbreaks as you did. You put so much time and love into your projects, and hope that others will realize that. Thanks again for sharing! Also, your mothers binders are absolutely beautiful!!! Happy Holidays to you!

So nice of you to share your tutorials and how well each piece sold. It takes a lot of time & effort to make everything for a craft fair (why I don’t do them!) and it’s heartbreaking when people who attend craft fairs do t understand that handmade is worth the price. Have a wonderful holiday season!

Your little golden book journals were my favorite thing! My friend and I will be making them soon, for a craft fair for next year. I was curious about your candy jars? I, also, have several of them finished. And hot cocoa and tea favors, as well. Your display was absolutely perfect! Just a suggestion...You should consider doing a spring craft fair to sell your non-Holiday items. Thanks for sharing all of your results! Hugs 💕 Suzy

Thanks Amber. Your videos are always helpful and inspiring. Your craft fair table was well displayed. I liked the chalkboard signs, they really stood out and showed the prices clearly. I think many crafters don’t sell as much because their things aren’t priced or one has to work too hard to find it. Not the case with your table.
@sherrywhite67275 жыл бұрын
Very nice products. I was wondering about your common place books. You mentioned that most of the products that were selling were a christmas theme. So can you take the commonplace books and make some that are for entering your favorite memories from Christmas. They could put in favorite Christmas date and place, favorite gift, xmas games they played, names of relatives who they got to spend time with and finally new members of their families. Really anything that left an awesome memory for them. Just a suggestion!

It's interesting that the items that did not sell well for you were mainly journals. I had also thought that the journals I carry would sell really well at the craft fairs this year. But, to my surprise, they hardly sold at all. So maybe it's just one of those years -- or maybe people are a little journal'ed out with so many of them out there. But like you I enjoy making the journals, so I'll probably continue and hope the market changes soon.

Hi Amber, Congrats on a another great craft fair series and successful year. I have done 3 craft fairs this year as well and I also found that the journals (altered composition note books and gratitude books did not do well AT ALL. I did a few of the Little Golden books, and people loved them, but I only sold 1 and I sold it for $16.00. This was my first year and I find that what sells at one, does not at the next and visa versa. What I was shocked at what really sold for me, were the large post-its with the pens and the mini post its and pet treat packs. I sold out of my Thanksgiving nuggets, but hardly any Christmas. I have 3 more to go, so I am hoping to get some more sold. I still have MASSIVE amounts of stuff. Thanks for all you do. I hope maybe next year, you can start the craft fair series a little earlier. XOXOXOXO

Hi Amber, my sister and I did a craft show in the early part if November. I made some chunky note pads and journals for it. Chunky note pads were a hit, the journals sold ok, and none of the Christmas themed ones sold! I did the note pads 3$ each or 2 for 5$ and the journals for 5$

Thank you so much for sharing! Even though you didn’t sell everything, I have to say that I was super excited to be able to purchase one of your craft fair boxes! I just love everything I received. Regarding the golden book junk journals, I have seen people selling them on Instagram for $49 on up. Another thought that I had was if there is a craft fair or yard sale that you have before kids return to school, some of those items may do really well and I thought it would be neat if maybe you put the backpack, magnet, bookmark, and journals in a pack and sell them that way. Anyway, you have totally inspired me and I am hoping to take on some of these ideas soon!

You did great! I decided to try my hand at a craft fair this year. First off in CA, if we sell any food, even Swiss Miss Packs or Hershey Nuggets you need a one tine permit for &75. Or a multiple show permit that is $350 and a professional kitchen!! Even just for pre-wrapped foods. If I try next year, it will be hand made items, but no food, even though I privately sold over 50 Hershey Nuggets packs. I hope rules and regulations in other states aren't as harsh as CA. Very discouraging

I have to stop by to thank you. I just got home from the only craft fair I'm doing this year, and I wanted to let you know that I made your lip balm favors and tea and honey favors. The tea sold out, and I think I have two lip balms left, and I had dozens of each! I kind of added them at the last minute, because I wanted to add to what I usually sell, and have some lower priced items that people could grab for stocking stuffers and teacher gifts, etc. They moved kind of slowly at first, but after one woman bought 12 of the tea favors, things really picked up, and they all just thought that both of them were the cutest things ever!!! So thank you ever so much for sharing. And may all of your generosity come back to you tenfold!
