If you cut out 4 inches at first you won't have to leave half an inch when you fold the edges inward :) Great video by the way!!

Just a little tip for you....if you fold the fabric and iron it then put the D ring on and bring the raw ends together good side to go side and sew so you have a circle ...then sew the edges and just move the D ring as you go you wont have the raw edges .....hope i said that right so you understand ....

Where can I buy the fabric for the lanyard?
@ingeneren4 жыл бұрын
in the State of Michigan you need to have a break away at the neck in case the lanyard gets caught in a machine it will break the lanyard and not drag you into the machine. I have figure out how to do that i think--- I am going to be testing it in a few days.

Cute idea! I’m going to play with the width a little. I’m not comfortable with NOT bringing the raw edges to the center fold. That leaves one long edge thin and flimsy especially if interfacing is not used. I think I’ll see if there is a way to hide that back seam where the clasp is attached. Thanks for sharing!
@CraftyCraftsByDeanna5 жыл бұрын
Mine have been fine! Wash dried and washed and dried and no issues I know yours will be awesome!
@brendawood34274 жыл бұрын
If you fold and iron as shown, then put your ring on. Take the two end right sides together and sew. Then you can ref old and topstitch all round both sides by just sliding the daring in front of you. Pull ring with lobster claw to seam area and stitch in place. I like a rivet above the seam. Gives a more professional look.
