I use a pair of pliers or wire cutters (dull ones lol) to grab and pull needles thru esp on thick layers of ribbon! Makes life alot easier 🤣

Have you thought about securing the needle upward in styrofoam and then stacking the ribbon on top of that.

Very cute. Thank you. I think you are using 9mm SPLIT rings though, not jump rings; correct? If not, I would suggest using split rings so that the twine doesn't come out.
