$20. is low balling yourself $22- $25 would cover the time you spend doing your craft and the time you loss with your family. My daughter is doing a fair in Oct and I may use your idea for this to add to her craft fair. As of now I have only done hanging towels, cozies, aprons, cards etc for my part. I'm 69 and hand surgery has slowed me down. I hope to get a few more things made but only as my health lets me. I enjoy your channel very much. Blessings for you and yours

These turned out beautiful! I would easily expect to pay $25 for one. Being that the tote is a gift that keeps on giving and a handmade special item I think it's worth $15 on its own. Don't know where you are, but in California I would expect these are $30-35 easy. I would think the tote alone is $20. Be sure you count in all the individual packaging used and pay yourself for your time. So precious!!

$20 is a low price. I understand your reasoning but it seems you are not making much profit. Like you said, $5-6 dollars on the goodies, maybe another $3-4 dollars on materials, is $10 profit going to make it worth the effort? I am not criticizing, you do beautiful work and the baskets are of good quality. I guess it depends on how quickly you can make them. Not being a quick sewer this project would take me quite a long time. Thank you for sharing this project, I always enjoy your videos!

Darling totes! If my math is right, your profit is about $10 per tote. That means your total profit IF you sell all 10 bags is $100. That is a LOT of work for $100....worth it, perhaps, for the fun of making them/the joy of sharing your creativity with others, but not fair profit for all of your time. All that to say that $20 is MORE than reasonable! Also - your finishing touches - the bow, the Santa tags - are fantastic and really make your totes look "professional"!

Please turn down absolutely gorgeous. I wish I had somebody I could whip up some money and come by a few. Somebody suggested 2 440 and then price them at $22. I think that's a good deal. I think that might be better that way. They think they're getting a deal. When you do that, I'm all about pricing. Where if you buy two, you get if you buy this, you get this for half off probably closer to the end of yocraft show. You probably could mark things down a little bit and buy one. Get one for such a such as such, you buy 1 for twenty, get a second for fifteen, you know, but you only do that at the very end. Of your craft fair Right now, I would go with the twenty-two like someone said, and then say 2 for forty. I would even throw in a candy cane for good measure just my thought.

You really are getting very little for labour. It took over 30 minutes just to make a tote. The plastic bags, the ribbon, the cricket supplies to make the tags, you didn’t include. Even if they are things sitting in your stash you still spent money on them. So let’s say by the time they are made and loaded up each bag takes 45 minutes to get ready for sale. You are charging $20.00. Not sure what you figured the tote cost to make, but that is really cheap, not sure you are even making minimum wage for all your talent.

Personally, I think you’re under selling yourself a little bit. I would sell them for $25 apiece. I’m in northern California. I also don’t like to do deals, unless they buy three or more but that’s just me. Many people come to these craft shows and act as though they’re at a rummage sale or giveaway. It takes time and patience and energy and love to make these items and I think they’re well worth $25. As you said, it’s whatever the market will bear so maybe in your area $20 is what they sell at.
