Craft Ideas: Hannah's Prayer

The story of Hannah and Samuel is a great way to remind children of God's faithfulness and of the importance of prayer. Even when we don't get what we want in the way we might hope, we know God loves us and hears all of our prayers, of supplication, praise and thanks. These crafts focus on prayer. A "Prayer Phone" serves as a microphone or "telephone" replica. A Prayer Journal provides a method to write (or draw) prayers. Let's get crafty!

Kristin is a servant of Christ who is blessed to currently be serving as Directory of Christian Education at Risen Savior Lutheran Church in Broomfield, CO. Originally a California native, Kristin has a master's in teaching from Biola University, as well as a master's in theology and a DCE certificate from Concordia Irvine.
