It just hit me that we’re drowning in too much stuff. Actually drowning. Me included. Losing control. I think of hundreds of hours I’m wasting organizing, storing, reorganizing, repackaging, buying organizers, buying labels, sticking labels, rearranging my spaces, cutting and trimming bits of paper, etc. am I burning out?😞

Maybe go on a no spend and just use what you have. So you can focus on crafting. If its not necessary then use what you have for about 60 days and revisit and see if you have used enough product to start buying again if not go an another 30 day no spend. After that you may need to purge. You could bundle it up and send out happy mail or sell it on market place on face book. Hope you recover soon happy crafting

You video was very helpful. I asked myself the three questions and changed a few things in my scrap room. Scrapbooking is really three hobbies. Collecting, organizing (which I also like) and scrapping. I got some really great ideas from you!

I’ve come to the conclusion after 10 years that it’s impossible to organize embellishments. they crossover too much it’s kind a like trying to pick up liquid mercury it just goes all over the place

It's a constant evolution for sure, maintaining can be challenging.

I just started buying paper last summer. I don't have a system yet as i haven't started using any of it. It started out with me wanting to make boxes for my chocolate business. But that haven't happened as i have not made any chocolate. Because of health issues. Hopefully this coming year things will get better. Thanks for the ideas

Where did you get the tall sticker bags? Those are a nice size and fit! You can use milla folders for back in your little ephemeral and use the backing that come with it for your scrapbooks. You give good ideas. Thanks for sharing.

Do you have any videos of your page layout using your flair embellishments, without the pictures f course? I’d love to see how you use them.

521LakeStreet What are you referencing Sandy? The teal file box? If so, I picked that up at a local thrift store. I agree they can be expensive, some times you find them at TJ Maxx for a decent price though 😊

It's a bag from Thirty One, I think it's called the creative case and maybe discontinued, I could not locate on the website but was able to find onion postmark poshmark.com/listing/Thirty-One-Get-Creative-Case-61cd88392e8e443de5805f7c# If you know a Thirty One consultant, you can reach out and they may be able to locate one for you. It's a great bag!

Thanks Jessica I truly did get some great options and ideas to incorporate in my ever evolving and sometimes overwhelming scrapbook collections and systems. It certainly got me to go up in my craft room and get to organizing for a couple hours~ and an opportunity to have some me time away from the family, noise of tv and our pets. I have purchased the Michael’s cart~ so I definitely will incorporate some ideas for that unit. I also have the Michael’s plastic case container system for storing embellishments. I really liked the idea of taking them out of the plastic carry container and place them in the drawer, which they all fit quite nicely in my side drawers of my 3 drawer desk. I have to decide though whether I want to keep them all in the drawers, or lay them all out nice and neat on the roller cart. Originally I had one of those trays that is plastic with little cubby spots for different ephemera~ that tray fits perfectly in my desk drawer and stays on the top edges of the drawer, so I can also store other organization containers, etc underneath the tray within the desk drawer and it perfectly shuts with no problem. I’ll have to take a picture to share. I got the plastic divided container at Walmart. If I want to take the tray on the go for crop gatherings ~ I just take the tray out of the drawer and I can layer at least 2/3 trays inside a Michael’s 12x12 plastic carrying case also used for paper and collections storage. You can also buy proportional size snack bags like the jewelry bags at Walmart and also at the dollar tree. For my larger embellishments I can use more of a smaller square snack bag that is wider and yet still compact. I really enjoyed your video and it confirmed what I may already be doing and/or tweet what I already had going or was thinking about doing. There are so many ways and ideas~ I just want to make the decision, get it done ✅ and get to crafting with ease of good organization. Thanks again.
