Everything looks sooo good! I would suggest putting a rug in front of the chalk board wall to avoid messing up the carpet. Also if you're going to get magnet letters (as shown in the pictures) I suggest spray painting them metallic colors or varying shades of pink opposed to the basic colors they come in.

tip for the chalkboard wall… it spreads a lot of dust everywhere from the chalk when used and rubbed away with a brush. Not great for kids to breathe in and also sinks into carpet or the floor below where the chalk dust falls. Buy LIQUID chalk board markers. They look 10x better than chalk and they have the added benefit of no chalk dust on the ground or left to inhale. They wipe away with a damp cloth just like reqular chalk.! :) Your home is looking amazing!

Oh Goodness, please mount that mirror on her dresser. I was close to her age when the mirror that was on my dresser fell on my head. One of my drawers was stuck and I kept tugging at it and the mirror tipped and fell on me. I ended up with 8 stitches above each eyebrow.

Nice. The captions for your cat are hilarious. I love the chalkboard idea. When my youngest was around Ziya's age, I added one to her room and she really enjoyed it. I also painted one of those cheap particleboard tables as a chalkboard top so she could sit and draw as well. Looking forward to seeing more of your home transformations.

Putting it up high that mentality defeats the purpose of the child’s creativity if you don’t have the items to color on it accessible it will be just fine. I've got a basement space that I need to split for little kids (3-10 yrs) and (pre-teens -teens)...I like the floating bookcase and the cubby storage with labels for the TVs for both areas. I need to also purchase some of metal racks in your garage for all of my holiday storage(I didn't realize that I have soooo much holiday decor 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️...its absolutely ridiculous but I love it all and keeping it all, so I need to purchase more clear storage totes and the shelving...Thanks Raven!!! When you make the chalk wall make sure to add a tray at the bottom of the board to catch all the chalk dust that falls when you draw on the board. My mom painted a chalk board wall in our house and i remember the carpet was a disaster with chalk dust everywhere so make sure you have something to catch the dust!!

Hi, as a preschool teacher, I recommend you take pictures of what type of toys are in each basket and place them on the front of the boxes. That way, since Ziya can not read yet, she’ll be able to know where to put each toy back. And then she’ll also be able to connect the words with the group of toy. It will also help cut down on the mess because then she’d be able to find exactly what toy she is looking for so everything won’t be dumped onto the floor
