I really love the randomness of your craft room. You are amazing and so talented. I have been squeezing every last inch out of my space to try to be able to get to my things. Your organizing always makes so much sense and I really feel encouraged. It really helped me to see how overwhelmed when you first started your lace organizing. And now to see how well you did and how well it works for you. I waffle back and forth from using pretty things to organize to just finding a container, any container that fits. Lol. The struggle is real. I fell in my craft room and 911 sent about 5 firemen to help me. When they figured out I was ok, they started looking around the room. One of them said, “look at how much she fit in here!” The other one said, “yeah, and it’s all labeled! My wife would love to come here. I’m never going to tell her about this…lol”. Somehow, I really wanted to start doing vintage and junk journals. I’m squeezing the new things in the poor room now. Lol. It’s working. Thank you Gayle, for all you teach us and your calm, loving spirit, and so much fun too. Hugs, treen 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕

First of all I want to say that your craft room is amazing a Beyond imagination. You must have a million dollars worth of stuff to make junk journals or whatever you want to make. 79 and a half my memory is not so good and I would have a really hard time remembering what I had and where it was in a place that big. Again it was very lovely hard not to be a little bit envious of all that you have. You indeed are a blessed woman

It was funny how my heart reacted to parts you were showing! It was really emotional and exciting! I guess I must be in the right niche! I can’t thank you enough for all you contribute to us and this wonderful community! Have a wonderful day!

Love your craft room, Gayle. It is charming, full of delightful areas. I am partial to the teal carts. I have two myself. My room too is a collection of mismatched furniture. It is what happens when we accumulate items over time. Thanks for taking your precious time to show us your crafting space. I am glad you have at least one window. I remember when your stuff was all in the niche area. That was jam packed. I bet you absolutely love having the whole downstairs to spread out in. You are a true artist and such an inspiration. Sending hugs. ☺️

You have such a lovely space for creating. I just love craftroom tours. I get so many ideas for storage and organizing. I may have to order some of the clear boxes. I use three drawer organizers, but the clear is so much better with the instant view of items in the drawers. Thank you for sharing your crafty space with us.

Amazing that you can remember where everything lives! I love all your mismatched bookcases and shelves. Your storage obviously grew as your supplies did! Some craft rooms are so clinical that I wonder how their owners create anything. I've just scored various Michaels cubes through a store that handles estates and am filling drawers. (I'm one whose storage didn't grow as I purchased supplies. Now I'm catching up with my foolishness.) So I have white, walnut, maple, oak, plastic, cardboard and glass: what a moomatchka! TFS your crafty space updates!

It's all so pretty and organized! I started watching when you were just in your little nook and I was amazed then at how much you fit in there. I love how you've expanded and made multiple work stations so that you can leave the different projects and move on to another without having to clean it all up. Brilliant! I love your organization videos and craft room tours! Eye candy!!! ❤️ Kate

Good Morning Gayle, My craft area is definitely not as organized as yours. I still have stuff scattered everywhere it seems. My question to you is how do you keep all your finished journals from gathering dust bunnies 🐰 especially those that are special and you are keeping? I get the cleaning wipes method but, doesn’t that grind down the dirt into material made covers? I’ve been told large ziplock bags work for storing finished journals but, I have feared that they will have a plastic like smell to them. Any advice? I really love how your craft room turned out! It’s wonderful 💜

I love your craft room I am lucky to have the small back bedroom for my crafts, sewing card making and now I have started journaling but it is my little bit of heaven for me, my quiet place and sometimes it might be tidy but most times it is a bit chaotic. Your videos inspire me to tackle things that I would otherwise be afraid to try and although nothing I make is perfect I still love doing them. Also love your family photos you have given me yet another idea!!! xxx.

Love a good craft room tour. A matching craft room is good, but i just love the mix of yours. I'm trying to do the same in a corner of my living room at the moment and my main piece is a painted pine unit of my grandmothers which must be about 100 years old by now. I'm trying my hand at mixed media since seeing how much fun you have. Much Love

Wow! That is impressive. I would have the problem of remembering where everything is. I love to craft, but when I get it out to do anything a grandchild will magically show up (I have 8), and of course they want to help make something, but using my good things. So needless to say, I don't get much done. Keep on crafting Gail, you are an inspiration!

Wow Gayle! That’s amazing, thank you for taking the time to give us the excellent tour! Just reorganizing my craft/laundry room, that I’m so blessed to have! Couldn’t put another piece of furniture in here tho…hoping my ironing board will have a spot to stand🙏 always loved ironing…”it’s the smell of the steam on the cotton” Good memories of when I was little and staying at my grandma’s in the summer and the ironing was done on Tuesday…cause grandma only washed on Monday! So, congratulation Gayle we see you have an iron, my grown daughter’s don’t have one! They think it’s an antique item! …confession…I was just 77 in January and will finally be getting back to junk journaling soon in my craft room…I’ve trashed our living room …no place to sit…there I’ve said it! Feeling better with every item I bring into my craft room and find it’s proper place and I want to sew and paste soon! Thank you for every video you do…👌🙏‼️💚💚💚

Enjoyed the tour Gayle...your craft room is wonderful - - welcoming and inspirational...like you! I feel that having storage pieces such as cupboards and suitcases that have meaning and a connection to you, is better than a sterile environment where everything is out of sight. My room is small, but I use my mom & dad's 1930's wood kitchen table and my 53 yr old son's particle board desk from his school days that I painted white, in my craft room. Fond memories of them both, as well as other old pieces for storage. Hubby put adjustable shelving up to the ceiling on 3 walls for me. I share the room with a guest bed, so my storage needed to go vertical, but it works. Everything is labelled in clear sets of drawers, clear boxes, and pretty decorative boxes from Winners or Michael's 1/2 price. I did purchase a couple 6-drawer metal cabinets from IKEA for under the table. It is a very busy room tho. Lol No room for firemen in here! (Glad Katrine was okay.😀 )

Great tour!!! It would seem ... as we evolve our craft areas evolve!!! My goal this summer is to get rid of stuff so I can utilize a space that started out as an art room... and now is just in a holding pattern... hopefully ... back into an art room....It’s sleety here today. Most of our many feet of snow has melted.. except for the big dirty clumps...we got maybe an inch or so last night... now covered in ice!!! Spring is abt a month away!!!! Sigh☺️ That will be a welcome sight!!! But already have some snowbells up!!!... Thanks for the tour!!! 😻👩🏻‍🦰💖

Great craft room! When mine is cleaned and organized I still have to dig through plastic totes 🙄. But we use what we have for storage 😏 I have some of those plastic drawer towers but find they collect a lot of dust (maybe because my 100+ year old house is just a dust magnet) So color me green with envy because I would be overjoyed to have a neat, clean and well organized craft room. TFS it was a great tour. Have a great day. 🌞

Hi Gayle! just watched your craft room tour. I think I will be organizing all day long with your inspiration! The separate mixed media area is a great idea! Hugs ~ Laura Jean

Oh my gosh, Gayle! I think you're collection has grown since the first video you made after you expanded into the entire basement. I keep explaining to my hubby that my collection of craft supplies is not too much, though it fills up an entire bedroom and the room feels tighter and tighter with each new addition. It grows so fast from my thrifting. And I know how much you get from Etsy shares, so yours probably grows even faster. My husband has said that I probably need to relocate to the basement for more space. I do wish I had more room and a larger table space. I like the idea of doing a rolodex card project. The reason being that I recently came across two Rolodexes that were completely full of cards that have never been used. I think it would be fun to do that. Anyway, it was fun to see all your goodies. Really loved your grandchildren wall, especially 😍 Have a wonderful day tomorrow! God bless! Sue ❤

Love ❤️ your pictures of your grandchildren with the canvases. How sweet. What a fabulous area to create. Thank you for sharing. I’ll bet you are fabulous to be at a retreat with. That’s on my bucket list. Closest I’ve got is going to a new friend from one of my Facebooks group to craft. It was so fun.

Love your craft room. It is so comfy looking and huge compared to mine. I will be redoing mine this summer when my son puts down some beautiful laminate flooring. Can't wait for that to happen. Already have it designed on graph paper. Love the vintage suitcases also. Blesdings💝💝💝

Gosh how Lucky you are Gayle such a wauw room. I love in a small appartment and my craft space is 1.5m by 0.65cm. My storage space is 2 drawers and beneath my craft table I have a few metallic drawers from IKEA. Hope we can move by the end of tje year after my cancer treatment so I can have a bit more space.

I love your stairway wall! It is a beautiful way to show off your beautiful babies! Your craft room is lovely, and it is yours. I love your eclectic mix of furnishings and all of your beautiful art, that is what makes it unique and you! If it's what you love, then it is what it should be. I have been continually re-organizing my space with little tweaks and things as I continue to expand, and my craft room is also an eclectic mix of furniture, but I think I am finally getting it where I like it, LOL! I think we all continue to strive for that perfect set-up and then we add something to our mix of ideas and everything changes again. LOL!

I love that your space doesn’t have all that matcha matcha white shelving! I’m from an antique dealing family, so I love the vintage kitchen cupboard. What’s this retreat you speak of? I live in Pennsylvania, so maybe it’s nothing I can even consider.

Amazing! Tons of product to organize girl! You’re a whiz at it all!!! I got out my forgotten risers-great tip. I see how effective it is to separate the journal making area from your mixed media area. I’m gonna try to do that too. Thanks for showing us. XXX

Gayle, I love your craft room...It looks like mine, you just have a lot more but you have created a business with yours so you need more. I have a friend who has a beautiful craft room with matching furniture. She spends a tremendous amount of time keeping it neat and tidy, yet it is very unorganized, IMO, so she also spends a lot of time looking for stuff in all those beautiful matching drawers and cabinets. How you found the time to do all that so quickly is a mystery! Great job!!
