I want to get my sewing caught up...gather my supplies and sit here and follow along to see if I can make some pretties too. Thank you Gayle. I hope you feel better soon. God bless you!

I thought these collage elements were especially pretty together Gayle. All were so beautiful when finished. Goodness Gayle, what an emotional rollercoaster you are on. No wonder you had a migraine. With the fun invite to the Great Conversations table, the worry and apprehension of your sweet daughter's health issues, the super exciting wait, wait, nope not just yet suspense of a new grandbaby's grand entrance AND your certain exhaustion from a packed, fun filled vacation, you are certainly pushing your limits. Yep, for sure, you deserve a cookie. Warm hugs sweet lady.

Love your videos and your chat, I learn so much from you and have a nice day after listening to your humor and fun. I am usually "a not comment person but" wanted to let you know that there are a lot of us out there that are loyal viewers that don't comment. Keep the Rit dye box as people collect those, so much fun.

Lovely collage cards, really love the blue flower one at the end! It's so sad when puppies miss their family and feel abandoned, they don't understand how long before they are back but glad you are giving him the love and support he needs to make the time go faster!

I think the idea of passing out the journal at your table talk is great. Most people don't have a clue what a journal is. I recently bought 4 pads of Tim Holtz papers (I'm a little late to the Tim Holtz game!) and I'm in love with them. So I want to make my first journal with them. And I am trying to make all the ephemera first, and have been watching all your ephemera videos over and over. And I now probably have enough for 4 journals! I have 35 envelopes that I need to sew around, and about 30 tags, but only 2 journal cards, so I really need something more than an index card with lace on it! Today I am suffering from a craft fair I was in yesterday, sunburn and body pain, so I can relate to your migraine hangover! I am watching videos because I feel to bad to craft! lol I love watching and listening to you.

Have been enjoying your company today as I laid out all the papers I dyed yesterday. I tried the plastic doily and placemats. The papers turned out well, but definitely something I will continue to work on. I had a small tub (about 35 sheets) of coffee and tea dyed papers and the other tub was all beet dyed papers. Oh did sprinkle some red peppers flakes on a few sheets and added paprika to a few others. The paprika, when brushed away on the beet papers left tiny orange specks. The pepper flakes left nice imprints and a lighter color underneath. Was nice to listen to your videos during the sun drying process. Love all your excellent ideas and inspirations! PS. I get regular and vestibular migraines. Had to finally go to urgent care for a shot last week, but boy was I thankful for the relief. Feeling blessed though as I have had far fewer migraines this year. I feel for you and that migraine hangover. Hugs!

I am cleaning out my garage. I started collecting stuff for altered art about 12 years ago. I did some, but not enough. I happened on this channel, so maybe I can use some. I was planning on selling a lot...probably 200 vintage magazines, gallon jars of sewing tapes, ribbons, laces, buttons...the list goes on and on. Wish you were close to me and I'd give you lots of stuff! Glad I found your channel.

Gayle, I just watched the "tub" method on Friday and immediately tried it. Yes, I had a plastic tablecloth and cut it up and layered it with the paper along w a lace table runner. Just accordion Ed the lace back and forth..putting paper between each "bend" and let it sit a few hrs or overnight then drain and out in the sun it goes. Works Beautifully.

Hi Gayle, The educational foundation ("Great Conversations") sounds so interesting! You would be the perfect spokesperson, and the bag journals sound like a great way to get things started~ I loved the papers used today on the journal cards, and all of the digitals are really awesome. (Love the fabric tabs as well.) A beautiful way to conclude that last piece - the blue floral stickers were perfect. I'm happy Alfie has you as his Nana while the family is away, and I'm praying for their trip to Canada as well. I hope you are able to get some rest~ Betty :)

I been dying papers this weekend, hot in East Coast, papers dried so fast outside and in garage. My garage and craft room smells like coffee from the paper..building my stash. Also I used food dye too, just spraying the papers. Nice finds too. I went onto needymeds.com and they helped me with my parents prescription’s. It’s so sad with our healthcare system, hope all works out well for your daughter. 🌻🌻🌻

Hi Gayle, I hope you are feeling better. Migraines can really interrupt life. As always your talent, pleasant mannerisms and humor shine through. Yes, I’d love to sit at your table and chat... if only I wasn’t stayed away. I did want to ask if you’d do a video with some examples about what you know about copy-writes. I’m assuming that’s the reference to covering the Daphne Diary page? Also agree you should scan the rit dye box for pockets as someone else suggested... again copy-writes? Bless you for all you share!
@PraiseGirl5 жыл бұрын
Typo, should’ve been “states away”.
@gayleagostinelli_ct5 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much for your comment! I’m not in anyway qualified to do a video on copyrights. I’m just going by what I’ve learned from others on FB and YT. One of my JJ friends contact Daphne’s Diary directly and they said No! To using their pages in journals that are for sale. You can use them in personal journals of course. It has something to do with not owning the artists’ work that is featured in their magazine. That’s about the extent of my knowledge. Lindsey Zenor has a good video on copyrighting. ❤️
