Craft With Me - Fabric Tape Bound Mini Book Using Only Black and White - Tab Binding

Hey Guys,
I wanted to share with you this fun way to bind a book using fabric tape. I’m using Tim Holtz tape for this project and it works great. I decided to challenge myself in using only black and white to decorate this project. Luckily I had plenty to choose from. I hope you enjoy this and give it a try. Both the binding and stepping out of our comfort zone and use only black and white.

Very cute I'm going to try that. Got another ideal for you if you want to try it and I hope you don't mind my ideals I offer to you , I had the same thing happen to me and someone told me about it and it works. If you have a glue gun make little dots on the back side of your trimmer and let each one dry until it's just a bit higher then the edge of the trimmer and it won't slide. Again sorry if you don't like my ideal ,I just try to help . I'll still be your fan .❤

B&W is certainly a challenge for me! I might add some little splatters of color for fun, but this is a great idea! You have good content and your voice and comments are easy to listen to! You’ll do well!

Oh my gosh I love these, very clever and I never thought of making a little book. I recently bought printable washi paper, hoping to make stickers without the giant white border. I have a pic of my grandmother at 17 years old waving from the model T that she was driving in 1921 - I think that would be fun! Great video.

I like the project idea, and the b/w was a cool experiment, but I find the color ones that you made a lot more interesting. Daiso sells those cloth “washi” tapes, too. Now, I know what to do with them! Thank you for another fun idea!

These are terrific, my favorite is the different size tags. That’s the one I’d like to make. But unsure of how to place the tape.. Because of the size change with each tag. How do you start placing the tape? 1:02:53

Hi Cindy. What I’ve learned is if making the different size tags…make your smallest tag big enough where you can place 3 strips of tape comfortably and go from there trying to place the tape in the same spot on each tag no matter the size. Just so it looks nice when the binding is finished. I hope that helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
