Good Morning Gayle & Friends! I am so excited, not even sure where to start! Eco dyed papers, gorgeous! Frieda’s work is amazing and inspirational! (Yes, already placed my order at 1:30 am cst). And NEW stamps! I have the tidbits and a couple of Toni’s so I can not wait to join you and craft away! I need to make an id card for Mary Poppins! Also, big thank you for all the times I have watched you make journal covers with the big white mailing envelopes. So easy to make them that way (except my sugar bell bottle sprung a leak! Don’t fret, I had had another one!). I even remembered to put in a lace pocket. Not sure I’ll ever make covers any other way again! My cover for Mary turned out really well. Very pleased with myself! I was channeling my inner Gayle and it paid off! Ha ha. Seriously Gayle you are such a sweetheart to share your life with me and my friends. A little note from my meteorologist grand daughter, really high temperatures headed to mid-Missouri (& Kansas) next week. She said to be sure and feel the pavement for 7 seconds to determine if it is too hot for your pups paws. Also make sure to give them extra water and also water for us humans, too! Good thing my craftroom is over stocked so I don’t have to go out in the heat! Blessings to all!

Thanks for the tip on checking the pavement for 7 seconds to see if it’s too hot for the pups. I took my puppy out today and put my foot down for a second didn’t feel bad but I’ll know to keep my foot down there for 7 seconds in the future!

Hi Gayle! We are back from Newfoundland. It was such a wonderful trip! We drove and everything we saw was so beautiful! My auntie came back with us. She and I are now in Indiana so she can visit my Mom, her sister, in the nursing home. It may be the last time she may be with my Mom as my Mom has dementia. My aunt is a quilter, but I was showing her some junk journals and introduced her to your channel. So, she's right now watching you make your Raggedy Anne Journal. And she's starting to collect things to make a journal. She is a very kind lady and very active. She runs quilting retreats, so if you ever want to see the gorgeous island of Newfoundland, you could join one of her retreats. Only 3 years older than me. We were playmates when we were kids. Hi Gayle. I've been looking for bird books for a long time. I found one several years ago but gave it to a very dear friend that loved to bird watch in her back yard. She was quite sickly and couldn't do much else so there was no question about giving it away. But sure wish I could find others at our local thrift shops. Gayle, do the books from Maremi’s Small Art have an unpleasant smell? I would assume yours don’t since you did not say anything. I bought one when they first came out because I watch Marta on KZbin and mine just smelled awful. I need to set it outside to see if the smell will go away. Hi Donna Jo! No, my books didn’t have any smell. Hmm, I wonder if it was from the Amazon warehouse or something? Another thing you could try is to put the book in a sealed plastic bag with a dryer sheet. I did that when I received some paper from Etsy that smelled like cigarette smoke and it took the smell out. Hope that helps! ❤
