Cute paperclips, Gayle. Didn't take too long to make, either. My hubby and I watched Night Sky. We liked it, but unfortunately Amazon did not renew it for a Season 2. I took Tina’s #clusterbook idea, combined with your idea of using it to store already made clusters, and made an #alteredpaperclipbook to store my paper clips. I just used 12x6 pages sewn or stapled down the middle, great way to store them, I use my clusters and paper clips more often now that they’re so handy.

I love these! Going to make some for my stash. I ABSOLUTELY love when you go into your drawer beside you….as the sound the handles (I assume are brass?) make when you open it. My Grammie had a hutch drawer that made that same sound. She used to put goodies in there for my sister and I when we visited. We’d always run in, give her a hug and head to the drawer. Such very fond memories.❤

Hi Gayle, little blast from the past. Haven't been around much the last couple of years. Lost hubby in Aug of '21 and am just now getting back into doing some crafting etc. Hope this finds you well. Will wish you a very Happy Mother's Day. I'm sure you'll no doubt see some of the kiddos and the grands. They must be growing up so much. Time seems to be flying. I happened upon one of Ceri's videos showing his play with a paperclip pocket and mentioned he was inspired after seeing you doing some. It dawned on me that I haven't been by in ages, so here I am. I think I caught a video or two sometime ago when you were on one of your retreats last year or the year before. I'm glad to be back and hope to stay more current in the future.

There are a ton of the hymnals at two of my charity shops here in Wisconsin. They are $1.00. The going rate around here for hardcover books. Check charities that are backed by a church. Seems it tends to be Lutheran churches donate them.

Gayle, the dingle dangles hang better when you load the items front to back. You loaded the one you made back to front, and it was laying wonky. Didn’t you hear me telling you? LOL

I love this idea! I love the side pocket. I've seen a bottom pocket used. But this feels more functional and secure and may be able to use a bigger variety of things in it. One question I have, especially because book pages were used. Would you have to reenforce the edge to prevent ripping from taking things in and out? I was thinking decoratively with washi or even from the inside with scrapes. Or am I making more of this than there needs to be? Which is possible!

You could reinforce if you feel it needs it. Treating any part of a journal less than gently isn’t a good idea, so I think if the book page isn’t fragile, it’ll be fine as is. ❤
