Love this, especially the little 'couple', such a great idea! Here's a little tip, when working with jute/burlap, if you dampen the string/fibers they become more manageable. They're a little easier to shape once damp, but you'll have to hold it in place as it dries. Or just keep forming it to the desired shape as it dries. Burlap is a bit more difficult, sometimes it helps to dampen it and then other times not so much. lol 👩❤👨

I loved the people ❤️ this happened to me too with the ones I made. I didn't like the holes in the top of the bead. I just made a scarf hat for the lady and use a piece of my gnome beard scraps for the hair and made beards too for the men. 🤣 I loved all your diy crafts, they turned out great. Good idea to use up paper pads 👏 I have a lot of those. Happy New Year Corie 🎉 ✨️ 💜🌻

So need to get on Valentines Day! Its been a crazy past year moving and settling into the new house, some of my supplies are a 'mess'! LOL An under 100 grit it can minimize the paint smudging. Sand light with it, been there and done that. I also find the chalk paints smudge more. Love the paper hearts, I'll have to try that. Happy New Year Corie!

PS: I just hit to follow you on Instagram and one of your first posts I saw is a little house front shape made out of wood. This excites me. Just yesterday on my lunch break I saw many on Pinterest with Christmas cardstock and florals and Valentine's. At the Dollar Tree last winter I bought 3 with felt flowers on the roof line. I wanted to make Christmas houses and he tky take off the flowers. But, packing up my mom's house of 31 years and working a 50 hr work week left less time for creating. But, in my wood storage box I saw them days ago and thought with this grand serving window I need to make Vake one houses. I definitely will check out your Instagram site after my errands today and before I go have dinner with my Dad. I am so excited to follow you and create new decor for my home. Blessings, Rebekah 💞

Corie, This is the very first time I have ever seen you! It is 11amon Saturday, January 7th and I am so very sore from my job today I am having a lazy Saturday and resting my leg and told myself watch 2 videos and that is it. I live in the first suburb that was formed in Arlington, VA called Westover Village. My home is 610 sqft without lots of closet space and we are not allowed to use Molly bolts in our walls so I am unable to hang any of my heavy paintings or a wonderful drawing from my brother. I moved in less than a year ago and so overwhelmed with all I have still in a sea of boxes and bags of fabric. I want to go to the variety store today that is one of the best around in my little town that dates back to 1950 and now the grandchildren run it. All their Christmas items are half off and I make most of my gifts for Christmas and I sell at craft sales so I want to hit that store today. I live on a very tight budget but now and then during the summer I buy a Starbucks ice coffee that come in clear nice jars. I buy the small and I have saved about 10 thinking of painting 3 white and stenciling the word in red or blue the word JOY which was my mom's favorite word. For her it stood for Jesus Others Yourself. My mom passed away the summer of 2021 the day before her birthday from cancer. I am 59 and I am single and always have been, I do not have children I am a General Motors employee and have been for close to 18 years. I wear 4 hats, I am the only female in the Parts Dept. The guys are so cute they know to save the cardboard trays tape comes in for me as I cover them with nice velvet and they are my display trays for my jewerly at craft sales or for my note cards. We get very cool hard cardboard inserts at the end of the rack and pinion steering shafts and they are white and I cover them in fabric and make light weight wall art and have done so for years. In my little home the previous tenant in order to feel heat in the kitchen he made a large serving window with a very wide windowsill which I love. Doing so though 4 greatly needed cabinets were tossed out. But, I believe my bottles (I am going to paint them now) would look nice up there once my Christmas decor comes down. I also LOOOOOOOVE your hearts on the corks. I definitely and going to make them too. I already have the skewers on hand and I have Valentine large cardstock books but also recently thru Amazon purchases 100 loose sheets of floral paper and on the back side is a diff pattern as I want to start making my own envelopes. I also have the foam heart sticks from a project a few years ago when I decorated my mom's house but, my idea is to not take off the foam hearts but use the sticks already on them to weave into the fanned heart to go into the forks. I have a friend who is a wine taster and I am going to ask her to save me wine corks if she comes across any that are like your's. For years I used the average corks off wine to make deer and I also cut them in half to have a flat side and with epoxy glue for porous material I made my own cork board. I need to check out to see if you have an Instagram site so I can give you a shout out if I am successful making your crafts. Have a wonderful happy and healthy 2023 and I love hearing the noise of a happy family, even squeaky doors are welcomed here. Blessings, Rebekah from VA

Love the crafts... FYI if you soak bottles with labels in hot hot water with dish soap the labels will slide right off.. and if you glue to small sections of pool noodles side by side you can lay the bottles right in the crease and it will stay still/in place to work on 😜😉 but I am Sure you already knew that 👍
