More videos like this please of crafting things from scratch most crafting guides try to explain the concept but don't actually show you the process step by step in slow time which is what dumb asses like me need. I'd love to see you say exactly what you are going for and how you know which base item to start with and watch it turn into something really powerful and specific with each step shown and explained. Also a sort of ingredients list of exactly what it took to make the craft would be cool

@@BigDucks ei! I'm new to the game and i would like to know if when i'm crafting an item it will automatically stop applying the socket orb if you get to 6 or it will continue. Do i need somethibg for it to stop applying? Same as the links ones i really would like to know

also dont forget that you can reroll only prefix or suffix with harvest (maybe beast too), and remove one prefix and add suffix and such with beast, so you dont have to spend annul + exalt for this too. Use poe craft to know what can roll, helps a lot to target specific affix with fossils, and one of the best advice that helped me a lot : block certain slot (like the last prefix or suffix) or even mods with crafts, that you can remove to get what you want later. Also if you happen to have the mod you want but not the tier you wanted, harvest offer you to reroll the item with increased chance to get the same modifier, very powerfull too. Also you can still craft with harvest with influence item, just not augment a mod on it.

You forgot about one thing - sometimes it's better to use bench socket crafting options to hit for example 6x off-colour sockets Vaal Regalia. Otherwise you will spend A LOT of currency for chromatics to colour them lately or try a luck with white sockets craft Vorici from Betrayal (which is kinda expensive).

It's insane how much currency you can do by crafting. ZiggyD has made a video about it where all his wealth came from crafting. It requires a lot of knowledge tho but even I tried it and it worked. I crafted a 20ex worth of Elusive Boots with +80 life and 100% total resistances and 30% mvs with the cost of 4 exalted orbs. Depending on what Item you're crafting and how large the demand is you could basically farming currency by crafting items. Edit: I crafted with only 2 fossils and I needed 30 attempts

Yup take most basic craft like flasks, you can craft that at no expense and turn it into 20c. At start of league you can sell bunch of these and get couple of ex and then craft further.

I got yelled at for saying this in general chat once... But I wish Perandus coins were the "gold standard" currency instead of chaos orbs. Because although the coins can be used for something, the coins could stay in circulation and be a more precise exchange rate. Instead of saying 3.2 exalts.... How many chaos is that? Nobody knows, because it changes every league. :p

This is really bad.Beginners do not listen to this, this is not good advice at all. Who would have an highlvl infulenced chestpiece for crafting and no cheap random noninfulenced 6link before that so that you would actually use it with just life and res? "if you hit that one mod that you want you just hit it with a regal and multimod" Well then you have a 5stat item and with using a augment before the regal you could actually have a 6stat item. Adding that 6th stat afterwards will cost you can Exalt instead of a regal.

@@romanramilevic7558 Are you some kind of fanboy that has to play the knight in shining armor for his beloved youtuber?? I am crafting gear for profit for years now. I make several 10s of exalts every league in week 2-3 with crafting and I went through a lot of methods and have a good idea on what is profitable and where you can improve. The video is just not great and some things he mentions are just plain bad. 1. He sais when you hit something like just high life and a resist wear it. This is bad advice. In the early league influenced high ilvl bases to craft on are pretty expensive. The base alone (as 6link ofc.) is probably worth more than a random corrupted chestpiece with 120 life. It makes absolutely no sense to buy a base für 1ex or more and wear a craft that is worth 20-100c in week one or two. 2. He sais as mentioned above. When you hit one mod that you target just regal and multimod. This lets you end up with a 5 stat item. When you want to add a 6th stat at this point you will have to exalt slam it. You could just Augment the item before regaling and you will end up with a 6stat item instead or saved an exalt. It is a 14 minute video that could be compiled into a view lines of text or a 3 minute video easily. He is just talking to make the video longer probably and is telling beginners stuff that is just bad advice. If you have a different opinion please enlighten me, I am open to a discussion.

When you know how to farm maps (T16) you get plenty. Same with delve and keep in mind that you get plenty of six socketed armors that you can vendor for 7 jeweler orbs those you vendor for fusing orbs.

i'ven't read all the comments but i "discovered" something - i REALLY hated to fossil-craft because the splitting of the resonators is so annoying! If jo take up the whole stack and hold shift and click then on a position 1 resonator will be placed there, so you can split them up just by holding shift and click then ... thats WAY more comfortable! :D

I've payed off & on for years now, many leagues. Never really devoted myself to the game or it's mechanics, don't be too stressed or hard on yourself. Being an average player and a top tier player is so much different in this game than most - Understanding a lot of aspects of the game is just extremely tedious. It's a very fun game to casually play and chill though :)

The sheer bullshit of the compound RNG to get even ONE 6-Link to work is why I'm mostly biding my time for POE2. Even if you just happen to have 1200+ Fusing just chilling in your Stash, THEN you have to get the rolls just right, THEN you have to get the Socket colors just right... It's stupid.

@@BigDucks Have you not seen the POE 2 videos? All items will have up to (and already included) 6-Link Sockets in a pop up style panel, based on their item Level. And they'll all be Prismatic Sockets, so no more spending hundreds or thousands of Chromatic Orbs to get the colors just right.

Because depending on the initial mod that you rolled you may want to save the open slot so that you have enough suffixes or prefixes to craft enough. You can get away with Aug and then regal but you may end up with a bad mod that you then cant craft.

keep in mind that linking is allways RNG and nothing alse, i had several items that vent over 4k fusings with 45%+ quality... average on 45%+ quality from my testings is 800fusings ( did several sesions of testings with 150-200k fusings )

Crafting its why i can't play game, and it suck they update enemy it to match highest spec possible gear so at 5000hp with resistance and evasion and cwdt gem, i still get 1 hit death experience, but its important that players with 400 exalts with 30000hp have fun

Literally made a 6 link +1 support gems armor with 115 life and 3 res while watching this just to try, literally less than 20c worth of stuff sitting around no fossils. its not on the best base, but for a trial ill take it.

nothing said about ilvl, which is sad. most of the bases should be ilvl86 to be able to roll T1 affixes (T1 life, T1 % es, T1 WED, 35% MS, etc). in this case, ilvl85 = juicy T2 life. some bases, like pdps foils, should be below ilvl86 (to minimize affixes pool). poedb and craftofexile are amazing sources of info, use them. if its not a league-start, strongly consider buying beast-duped 6L ilvl86 base (or ilvl100 from a dapper prodigy card) instead of crafting your own. PS - actually i've never paid attention to jew orbs description, and thought that item quality only affects linking chances xD

You are incorrect on multi-mod subject, it's limited to 3 mods now (so selection out of 2 actually). This recipe has been updated way before this video was created. You should always go with alt+aug+regal if you want to multi-mod.

sometimes you actually cant just buy stuff. i just made my first build basically from scratch, and the chestpiece i wanted simply wasnt in existence. and because i wanted a vaal regalia with 5 off colours crafting it myself was basically the only option. or maybe there was another option i just dont know because im a noob. and the build died in yellow maps. but still learning experience.

One option for lots of off-colors is buying the cheapest base with as many white sockets as you can and use it as the starting point. To offset the initial possibly expensive investment you can dupe the base (using the split beastcrafting recipe). Last time I checked there was a 4 white socket vaal regalia going around in the delirium league and a 5 white socket one floating in standard.

@@daggawagga the problem was i could only use 1 blue socket and i didnt really want it even. ideally if the char wouldve worked out i wouldve opted for a 3-5 off coulor with 1-3 white sockets. but i did search for waht you recommended it was just expensive for my budget. and in the end crafting a 720 ES chest with the right colours cost me under 3 ex. and i farmed the fossils myself. so it worked out pretty good. edit: you see the ones with white sockets always had a blue socket. and that was the one i wanted to be white.
