Crafting a Simple Farmhouse Using Only Low Cost Materials

My 5 year old just watched this, and her imagination is going wild with what she wants to do. Though, having seen my Saga stuff, she is telling me she wants to do teddy bear fur roof, for a thatch look. She is now asking to see more of your videos.

I use A LOT of Readi-Board foam core for my tabletop buildings. I have noticed that for some reason the white Readi-Board paper peels off A LOT easier than the black Readi-Board paper most of the time. I have no idea why, and it’s not 100%, but the difference has pretty noticeable.

Yes I have found that to be true sometimes as well. I prefer the white if it’s available.

like how you use the matchsticks to position the inner frame on the windows

I position the two uprights closest to the front of the window then put cross beam at the back they all should fit in the space with out overhanging

So for clarification is the goal to recreate your farmhouse or just make a farmhouse of our own style that uses the techniques you present?

Make the Sam Farmhouse but paint and decorate anyway you would like.

Have you already received feedback from the participants asking for an extension of the deadline? I would like to advocate for this because I still have to build my house, put up the roof and paint the house. It all takes a long time for an inexperienced guy but it's a lot of fun. I'm afraid I won't be ready by Tuesday. An extension of the deadline would therefore be really helpful.
