In this weeks episode of the Plunder Den I will be covering the crafting & Painting of some simple trenches. These are excellent pieces of terrain for your favourite table top game. I plan on using them for Blood & Valor, Blood & Steel and all sorts of WW2 games.

Looking good, Dexter! I know it’s not to scale, but I like the burlap texture you did to the sandbags. That was a great idea. I’m still learning a lot from you. - Rick, USMC

Thanks so much, I am definitely on the hunt for something with a tighter weave but this is the best I could find that I could press into the foam, just wanted some texture.

Absolutely, really worked to give a generic look. I would like to do a few different roofs for the one piece to change the look even further. Maybe thatched roof give it a more jungle feel.

I really like using modeling clay for sandbags, make a roll push it down with a ruler cut and done

There's got to be a less labor intensive way to do the sandbags.
