Try experimenting with gold leaf.... You got to give it a shot. You can get the materials at hobby lobby for dirt cheap. You can get gold, silver, and copper foils. The brushes and finishing tools needed, burnishers, and of course the adhesives and other materials. It's way way WAYYYY easier than you would think. And gilding would allow you to do all kinds of awesome stuff. Obviously the foils at craft stores and DIY shops might not be the best quality on Earth. But it's really good. I've seen dozens of people use it in hundreds and hundreds of projects. And they've never seems to tarnish or decay over time. And are even more resilient than you would think. If it's on something in daily use.... Like a piece of jewelry worn regularly... Issues of wearing through or scratching can always be mitigated by adding a clear coat. In my opinion a good mat or satin clear coat looks decent . And you can really burnished the surface once the foil is on and it will give it a super-nice polished shine It would cost a few pennies per crown and take almost no time. And that's if you gilded the entire thing. Always enjoy your content and good luck to you and your channel 👍🤘

You shall heretofore never apologize to the Brits (or US) for your accent. **waves wand** I have discovered over the last three years that Koreans (and Norwegians, Icelandic, likely many others as well) appear to have a better command of English than we native English speakers do. 🤔 There’s a lot to unpack there, and I’m not going to do it 😏 Needless to say, your accented English is like music. Your channel is terrific!

This is the first time I have watched your channel. I'm a true Brit and an unashamed monarchist. You get full marks on this project!!! Not only your attention to detail but also scale. I have seen so many replicas of the Crown Jewels over the years and the scales are all wrong. To prove my point, look at the Imperial State Crown made for the series The Crown. It's HUGE. The real ISC is much smaller. So here's my challenge...let's have YOUR version of the British Imperial State Crown.... PLEASE??!! Oh, and btw, full marks also, for choosing the Elgar arrangement of our National Anthem!!!!

The inside of soda cans are coated with a plastic lining to prevent corrosion and contamination from the drink in direct contact with the aluminum, that's why it's not that shiny, the plastic makes it opaque.
