Been a while since I popped in. Looks great, but I have a couple of tips. First off is using a primer for models and terrain. It ties everything together before the first base coat and helps paint stick, similar to modge podge. It generally will give the finished piece a much cleaner finish. I would also recommend trying out the citadel technical paint blood for the blood god. Its a acrylic paint and can be mixed with other water based substances to get really good gore effects, similar to how you used the UV resin but tends to have a much better end look. Its a bit hard to explain. It also looks great when you do splatter effects using this brush flicking technique often used to apply mud to vehicles. Another useful technique is applying washes to terrain. You use a citadel paint for your minis, cant tell which wash but I would guess from the pot you made a DIY acrylic wash from abadon black. You can do the same thing with black craft paint, water and dish soap to thin it properly. I will mention that acrylic washes stain surfaces pretty hard so if you want a cleaner finish, a pinwash/panellining is the way to go. Love the GS work on the necromorphs, interested as to what the base model was

I haven't watched you in a while, but I'm glad I did! this looks really awesome, I love all of the figures, blood effects and modeling of the terrain! If i were to give any tips I would say that the background and terrain is sort of one color, and i think some more glows and such would go a long way specifically on a background that is such a neutral color, because this wasn't prevalent on your purple covenant dioramas. Also, MUZZLE FLARE!! All in all great work, those intestines look totally brutal, too!

Hey mate, it has been awesome to watch you improve your skills over the years. I think this is easily your best diorama yet. My only recommendation to you, coming from my own experience making ww1 and 2 dioramas is to use a red citadel contrast paint when making puddles of blood on the ground as it will pool up and give a more realistic look to the diorama.

Love this video man, for the gore and blood next time you might try citadels “blood for the blood god” it looks like legitimate blood and has a nice glossy finish!
@Mattycrafts9 ай бұрын
Definitely agree just used what I had on hand I yes the UV resin for a more glossy effect but the blood is probably better in the end
