I have the 900 without the handle and I love it. I’m cooking a little messy for the smaller one. I love that this let you cold. Soak your food first and for most of the things I’m cooking if you let it soak for a couple hours before you actually heat it up you’re saving a lot on fuel.

I've been using the jet boil set up. Everything nests inside and is SUPER efficient. Even the extra stove adapter nests inside and makes for a very stable cook stove.

I remember watching one of your earlier videos where you were struggling with an alcohol stove and ended up borrowing your friends jet boil. I thought to myself oh jet boil = dependable. I bought a mini mo. Love it. Stove, pot and mug all in one and works like a charm.

I don’t know if this will help but perhaps a small amount of cooking oil on the threads of the pot would fix the noise?

Those Snow Peak titanium mugs are excellent. And since you asked about new content, how's the bike stable working out (bike nerds want to know)

When cooking, how about surrounding your stove and pot with a sheet of aluminum foil (the thicker "heavy duty" kind)? Will keep the heat more contained and also shield it from wind so would probably help with the efficiency issues.

if you open and close the lid a bunch of times it will get better/less noisy, also you aren't closing it when cooking so unless dry soaking I only screw top a little so it just catches and it'll bother you less

I have the 700 BOT and I just unscrewed the lid to see if it made noise. It doesn't screech like yours so maybe it needs to be used more. I'm interested to see what kind of kit you come up with. I have been making changes to mine each year.

The lid for your Bot can be reversed and just slipped into place, so no squeek.
