Btw if you're ever in that situation like you were at the end - you stay out and he runs to the portal and uses invis potion. The boss will reset and he will have enough time to open the portal since he's right next to it when he interacts with it and gets visible/aggros boss again

Me and my friends took out a dude with Ruby silver armor he brought into a normal dungeon. We saw him in the pregame lobby and made it our mission to try find him. Took him out grabbed his gear and dumped it in the swarm so his friends who caught up couldn't get it back.

Man the Coltbat and Rubysliver just never seems to be worth it. the cost of those ore is more than enough to purchase an epic set with great rolls. Why would anyone spent 4k gold on a blue set and you have to get lucky on the rolls. Great video, remind me of Warcraft 3 the peasant unit

I mean they do have good gear stats on their own, so getting good rolls is pogged. Honestly, it does take forever, but if everybody was trying to mine cobalt and Ruby silver it'd def be faster due to the trickle up rule of the winners in a raid

I wouldn’t recommend using a war maul either. Anything that swing side to side in that game sucks because it’s harder to head shot and can be used in doorways or narrow hallways. Especially if you are with teammates.

I made a cobalt helmet, boots and gauntlets as a cleric, and I played with my mates to make sure I don't die straight away, thankfully we lasted about 5 runs before dying to a group of barbs and rangers who had better gear than my cobalt. I wasn't mad, they had REALLY good gear.

I think that mining is really bad right now the time to mine is insane all that time just for few rocks that you then have to make it back and hope you don’t die on the way back. Then you have to do it all over again and to top it all off, if your just mine you are not looting. Meaning you are really, not making any money at all. Honestly if they just put ore in the loot pool, I think that would help a lot.

The difficulty of obtaining ores honestly adds to the fun and rarity of the armors. I do wish that they had static rolls, as gambling with 3K is feels terrible. Btw if you are going for a Cobalt set like me, prioritize mining Rubysilver and sell it for Cobalt on the market. I sold RS Ingots for 130g and bought C Ingots for 60g. Still missing gloves, boots and the strange helmet though.

I mean the smart way to do it is to just buy it from the people that mine it. I'd say the majority of people making that gear is not mining the ore themselves. It's way faster to just play the dungeon normally and extract with a few hundred gold a pop. Every two successful runs should get you at least one piece.

I never looted a single piece of cobalt from a monster or chest in my 150h of playtime this test 🥹 the rubysilver and cobalt drip sells for a lot more than other gear but it still depends on the stat rolls 🥰

Honestly, tone down the crafting costs by like 30% and it's perfect. I like how slow it is to mine and how difficult and challenging it is just to get out with some, but having it take like 6-12 veins just for 1 piece of gear is insane when you can solo kill a Champion or a Wraith or lockpick a chest or two and get epics easy.

Haha set bonuses would be cool. You just get charisma and style points if you wear it though and its super gambly. I made rubysilver last playtest and it rolled absolutely awful 😂

@@lred1383 It's not confidence, its the fact that I've seen this before. Players will claim they want this hardcore style loot system but the second they lose a good item they'll uninstall. Especially if they get DCed or a group of players just rolls up on them while they are in combat. Both of those scenarios prove that the gear system is trash. The PVP isn't even good in this game because 95% of the time the fight starts during a PVE encounter and 1 team is at the disadvantage. All this will cause the playerbase to drop pretty quick. By the time they make the loot changes the game will already be New Worlded.

@@lred1383 Because it's doing insanely well, and is being updated very fast by a competent team. As for what Brig just said, that ain't true. People aren't going to rage and quit an *extraction* game when they lose an item, because that's the whole appeal of it - that you could lose it all each time you go out. It's why Hunt Showdown and Tarkov are so popular, and this one is as well. He probably watched some clown twitch streamer rage and uninstall the game and thinks that that will be most players. And the other part about PvP is just completely anecdotal, sometimes it happens during PVE and sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes you'll be caught in a disadvantage, that's part of the game and part of planning what you're gonna do. Again, that's the main appeal of the game

Does anyone else thing that Double Jump has no place in the game? It made Ruins pointless to me, they can literally just jump to avoid being hit and with the addition of the hand crossbow it's way too strong. Even if by some miracle you're able to snipe a rogue up high there's no guarantee their body will fall. I know cheesy rogue mains might not like this but the game would be better without double jump. I do agree with Repoze that clerics are strong, especially when they're one shooting whole lobbies with locust swarm.
