Amazon makes a kit that you can put drill batteries of your choice on them but Milwaukee ones are what I have found to be the best and I've built 5 so far

Oh man I have moded some power wheels. Lol get some relays and 6v with botton.. turbo mode. But don't hit it from a start.. gearbox don't like that. Cutting brake to cut one engine out so it can make tight turns. Ant if you want traction.or are tired of buying power wheels tires.. staple some bike tire tread over the tires. My kids mobbed that thing every were. But I deff went through a few different motors. I just used r/c brushed motors. You can trade torque for speed easily But I bet a brushless with a speed controller would of bin way better. But brushed motors are super cheap. Tried lots of battery's. Lead acid last the longest. And less electric fires that way.

Take two car batteries,or even two m18 batteries,hook your negative to the car,the positive of the same battery to the negative of the other then the positive to the positive on the car,you now have 24v or 36v depending where n car batteries or m18
