QOTV: My favorite hero while growing up, was Spider Man. Dude would be fighting crime, in the rain, while having the flu, while late on his rent, and having girl troubles. It helped show me the transition between childhood and adulthood. As a grown up, my favorite is probably Captain America. As a parent, it's always a struggle to see the right thing... but having the courage to do it is often harder. Captain America is a beacon of values that shines a light on the correct path.

QotV: Give me the *Lanterns from DC Comics. Geoff Johns' "Blackest Night" run was a banger & hit me at just the right time. The fact that a *Lantern could be anyone, and can include more than one, makes including more a simple story solution. Other heroes can't necessarily pass on their heroic monikers so well... looking at Batman on that.

QoTV: Hulk!!! He’s my favorite because he’s big and strong, but also I have always sort of identified with him in that I’ve always been sort of a Bruce Banner type of person (minus the super-genius) and have always had inner anger that I’ve battled. Mine however doesn’t uncontrollably come out and destroy things, but internally I have always gotten very angry at things. In a way this for me has always signified why I should strive to have extreme self-control over my actions and emotions. And so far in life I have been quite successful in my humble opinion.

Thanks for another great video. As regards the question of the vid, my favorite was always Batman. Nobility, tragedy, and ingenuity. The characteristics he possesses and the features of his story make him my favorite to this day.

It's not who you are underneath but what you do that defines you. I know it's not the popular opinion but "Batman Begins" is my favorite live-action Batman film. All the dialogue is burned into my memory.

I have been a Batman fan since Adam West first assumed the cape and cowl. The best Batman is Michael Keaton. The look, the feel, and those wonderful toys.

My favorite was always heroes like Batman who didn't have any true superhuman or supernatural powers but still rose to the call to protect others. In the actual Sentinels of the Multiverse card games, my favorite was Fanatic, who was blessed with angelic powers as a child in a Catholic orphanage, and Nightmist, who is like John Constantine using dark occult magic -- an ironic combo of favorites, I admit.

Favorite superhero? That's easy -- gotta be Static. Mainly because he not only has a cool power set (cliched as Electric Black Dude may be), but he uses smarts both book and street to get the most out of it. Now if Static wasn't a thing the top spot would go to Battalion from Stormwatch. The reason being that he is one of the few examples of a Black male superhero who a) is a leader, b) is unequivocally masculine, and c) has a power set that is based on his mind rather than his muscles.

This answer might not really count, but I'm throwing it out here anyway. My favorite hero is Dr Manhatten, because of how utterly detached he is from human nature. It's a nice change of pace from the usual Superman characters that are still mentally human while having borderline infinite power.

Superman. like all of us, he was born with gifts and he chooses to use them for good. Not to rule others but to lead by example.

Superpowered Hero is Speedball before the whole Penance thing. But my favorite Super Hero doesn't have powers, and is Wildcat.

Favourite villain is easy: Skeletor, specifically the old filmation version. Old skullface with his greatest enemy being himself. I loved him, all that power and yet his own obsessions and greed were all too often his undoing. And yeah, I know he's more on the side of misbehaving than villainous, especially once we include the Christmas special, but that just made him more endearing to me. Favourite Hero is harder as I've had a few over the years and that has changed more with age and there are some I really like as long as I don't think too hard. So it's a toss up between a couple but after some thought, I'm going to go with Kamen Rider OOO. A wanderer who does good while steadily showing an ancient sinful being how to be less selfish. Like most Kamen Riders he has flaws and one of his biggest dangers to himself is his own power source but I like that. Close 2nd would be Golden Bat, and that is entirely the child in me going "cool golden skeleton will save the day" because love him as I do, there is not a lot of complexity to the immortal/invulnerable/massively over-powered Golden bat. They both have great theme songs, which I feel is a must for a Super Hero in my books. If the hero doesn't have a catchy theme song/music, then I have a much harder time getting into him. Also, have you mentioned this already or are you saving it for later: Where does this system rank on your opinions of worst to greatest RPGs for Superhero play? And why?

Appreciate the videos on this game, sir. My only criticism would be that the length and slow roll out of them might artificially give the impression that it takes a longer time and lot more effort to make a character than it truly does to those browsing for info on the system. It seems a shame this game never got much traction in the rpg community and the developers at GtG have been so slow at publishing the supplemental sourcebooks for it. I've never gotten to play it, but you making videos about it motivates me to try and force it to the table at least once.

Got this book and I think I have made close to 40 heroes because it is so fun to roll them up. The villain design is rather fun too, though not random. My favorite joke villain is a "Mighty Poo" reference known as "The Awful Offal" which I may one day inflict upon a group. I need the Guise sourcebook which makes comical characters like Deadpool, Ambush Bug, or similar. And the GM pack as well. The book is just superhero fun for its own sake. Fave character??? I am rather weird about this. I love the classic Inferior Five. Big into classic Ambush Bug. I also was a Marvel Micronauts fan in the 70s and 80s. More recently, I have also gone deep into Marvel Zombies and then the DCeased setting as well. Also an Epic Comics era Elfquest fan in the 80s as well. So ... all over the board really.
