I love your videos they are so helpful and informative. I have a question for you. my daughter's wedding is coming up she needs me to make the little ones dresses, how do I measured the crochet by the yard to make sure they fit the different size girls? and also I have that crochet by the yard in 9" so if I need it 6" or 8" can I cut it. and how I measured the kids? a lot of questions. sorry. thank you in advance for your help. anything will be helpful

Marcia Salicetti thank you so much for watching my videos and im so glad they are helpful 😀 for the crochet you would want to measure the chest circumference for each girl to determine how wide you need to cut the crochet material for sewing. I would recommend subtracting 3"-5" from the chest circumference measurement depending on how stretchy the crochet by the yard is. As for cutting a 9" wide crochet down to a 6", you absolutely can however I would recommend that whatever side you cut, make that the bottom of the bodice where you will add the tulle because after you cut it, it wont have a clean edge so by covering it with the tulle, you wont be able to see it 😊 I hope that made sense

Crafting Princesses hello! I love your videos. i am a fellow tutu maker, but yours are amazing!!! I did have a question... the one mannequin you said was 12mos to 2t. do you have smaller and larger sizes to fit all outfits you make? I need to buy some but I can't spend $50 a pop either. What do you recommend??

Michelle Ayres Thank you so much for your support and kind words 😀 I have had this mannequin for about 2 years now and I actually use this even for the larger sizes. I pinch the crochet top in the back and secure it with a chip clip lol. I will say it can get annoying at times but I also cant spend $50 for every size. I am looking to buy another one soon and when I do I will probably get a size 8 to mke the larger sizes more comfortably, but honestly this ones works for me for the time being. So as far as recommendations i highly recommend the 12mo-2T and if you get a second one size 8 or larger to take care of the much bigger sizes 😉

Joanne Dozier the same way 😊 the lining inside the tops isn't attached all the way around the holes still pull away from the lining and allow you to put the ribbon through

Honey Monroe i got it on ebay, I just searched child mannequin or child dress form. They also sell them in bundles with different sizes 😊i paid $50 for this one just to give you an idea

Tauna Smith i prefer to order online at papermart.com or if I am in a pinch I will go to Hobby Lobby when the tulle is 50% off (they have this sale every other week) you can also find tulle at Wal-Mart 😊
