How did you get the vinyl to stick? Mine won't stick at all.

djf57 I wiped the tile down with alcohol first and then squeegied it down really well. Had no trouble getting 651 to stick.

First time seeing someone else using the tiles like I do. They are a lot heavier and will smash into a million pieces if dropped but the convenince is great and affordable. I don't have a way of cutting wood right now to the size I would want so these tiles made it so easy for me. My question is what do you use or would use to attach your hanger onto the tile. You can get wood from Lowes and they will cut it for you. You could also use vinyl flooring.

What transfer tape are you using? I may have missed it, or in another video, I'm a new sub so I will search a bit to see if it is mentioned but my tapes no matter the strength are not working,they either rip the surface, won't release the vinyl, or won't even pick it up.....I've bought every kind on Amazon and used on every material except the paper transfer ( just ordered). Help!

You can put some hangers on the back with E6000 glue and cover the back with cork board. You can get a roll at Hobby Lobby for about $16 then cut to size.

Hi there, I was wondering if you seal it with some type of sealant. Although the lettering sticks to the wood; I'd like to preserve it further. Definitely don't want family coming back at me saying that their signs are peeling after one year. What are your thoughts on this?

Permanent vinyl is a firm hold and should be hand washed only if need be right? Thanks! I used it on some cups before I learned about HTV and recommended hand washing only. Is this correct?

I use both. I use stands purchased at Hobby Lobby and use a french-style hanger that is hidden in the back and into a stud. You can also use the same brackets used for pictures. Home Depot has the brackets.

That is so beautiful. I do have a question for you. I have just purchased my Cricut easy press and am excited to get started, however I need help with Layers and grouping. How do i keep the wording from grouping out of order on the opposite side when I am ready to cut on my Cricut explorer one? I really enjoy all your videos. Not sure what she uses. I use D rings and use gorilla contractors glue/adhesive. Comes in a container like the caulk does.

After you put the vinyl on you need to put a thin layer of mod podge on. You can put 2 coats if you feel that will help keep the vinyl on. You can also adjust the vinyl until you put the mod podge on.
