I was 12 when I played this game for the first time. I started it at around September 2004 and finished it at April 2005. Playing on my old PC, every savegame was loading for minutes. I was so stunned with the beautiful music and atmosphere that I took my old cassette player and used its recorder to record all this music, placing it next to the loudspeakers. Then, when I felt sad or lonely, I would turn the player on and listen to the recorded music. It was a very important part of my childhood

Das ist schon irgendwo Wahnsinn... Damals, sind jetzt um die 17 Jahre her, hatte ich Gothic 1 auf einem uralt Rechner laufen und war hin und weg. ich hab es Tage, Monate gespielt und war von der Welt sowie dessen Soundtracks einfach überwältigt. Anschließend habe ich Gothic 2 + Die Nacht des Raben gespielt und fühlte mich wieder irgendwie daheim.

Omega0850 ja genau davon habe ich schon gehört mich hat nur das russische abgeschreckt... Aber soll massiv erweitert wurden sein und vor allem recht gut. Würde nur sehr die original Sprecher vermissen :)

Spiele gerade zum ersten Mal seit 15 Jahren das DndR Addon und es ist so geil....zwar ultra schwer, aber es ist auch echt cool bei den Piraten am Strand zu hängen!

Hele zkus to ;) pokud nebudeš slepě očekávat to co ti už dala 1 a 2, tak si to užiješ. Má to úžasnou atmošku. Už jen z těhle mixů tady ytb je často slyšet kus soundtracku z 3 a ty jsou snad nejlepší ze všech tří dílů. Ta hra je vizuálně krásná a akčoliv je v něčem repetetivní, stojí za tu zkušenost. Nemusíš to dohrát aby jsi si to užil, cestování po zalesněné Myrtaně a pak když se konečně dostaneš do průsmyku k zasněženému Nordmaru jsou jedny z nejnezapomenutelnějších momentů mý herní historie :-)

Unglaublich, wie viele Erinnerungen mit diesem wunderbaren Soundtrack verbunden sind. Ich weiß nicht, wie Piranha Bytes das geschafft haben, aber die Gothic-Teile (insbesondere 1 & 2) fühlen sich an, wie ein Teil meiner Kindheit/Jugend. Ich kann die wirklich gut alle 1-2 Jahre noch einmal durchspielen und es wird nicht langweilig, auch wenn man mittlerweile jede Kleinigkeit kennt. Vielen Dank für diese wunderbaren Zusammenstellungen auf diesem Kanal, das ist Nostalgie pur!

I don't play PC games anymore as I am conscious of my video game addiction proneness, and I'm too busy with life for that. However, whenever I'm studying/working too much I like to listen to Gothic 1 and 2 soundtracks since they bring me a lot of comfort and memories of the good ol' times. Thanks for uploading!

The pirate zone has amazing vibe of absolute freedom and adventurous pirate spirit. I like to imagine that in real life pirates were feeling the same way, despite all the issues they may have had. Tuning your thoughts into good memories, fancy cheerish imaginaitons while listening to this masterpiece is overall a magical experience. PS: (i wish i found it earlier)

Beatiful, the pirates were my favourite group (whose wasn't) and especiuially their theme was charming :-) I loved to return to their place even though there was nothing left for me, just to hear the joke of old pirate who says "Wait a moment... *look suspiciously aroud* not as far as I know, same old same old." or to have some of the Hasty herrings (great speed potion I'd say and easily to be reached :-) or to make fun of the sawing lady guy :D ust the area is great :D aaaah the memories... time to play once more

@@yooo5536 Gothic 1 i 2 (kogo obchodzi G3 i Arcania) miały dużo bugów, były niezbalansowane, miały animacje kiepskie nawet jak na swoje czasy i powodowały nadwerężenie nadgarstka u graczy :D. Grałem i nawet gram w tej chwili i G1 i G2 stanowczo NIE są najlepszymi grami RPG wszechczasów... ale i tak je kocham.

@@38procentkrytyk Risen 1 is great.. to me it's the final version of gothic.. the combat is really smooth and fast.. easy using potions.. there is bandit camp, swamp area, magic, alchemy, weapon training, level up as in gothic but a bit different, but still very close... instead of orcs now reptilians..

Gothic 2 DLC has such an astonishing soundtrack that its atmosphere was only matched in Risen 2, and Gothic 2 wasn't even about pirates. I really appreciate Pyrahnas doing the pirate trilogy afterward. It was a piece of Risen in Gothic and it shined.
